New series. You should watch it. Really good.
bigkg
I liked it enough to keep watching.
speedz99
Yeah, I'll watch the next episode too...entertaining enough.

It is about this guy:

I really hope Walton Goggins' character doesn't completely disappear. It looks like he makes some small appearances but not much.

Since he's still alive I'd be surprised if he doesn't become important again sometimes down the line.
Mercury69
It's Timothy Olyphant from Deadwood, yes?

Yes and he's basically playing the same character, the only difference being that he occasionally smiles.

I read a critic preview online somewhere that cited the internet rumor mill was that they were using Goggins' appeal to draw in former viewers of The Shield to grab a quick ratings boost and that his role was going to be fairly insignificant to the whole run of the series. Seems there is actually might be some basis to that given that he was around for one whole ep and a few minutes of the next. I think Raylan's dad (appearing next week) is going to play the bigger role in the series

I hope something like this is the case. I'm not sure how long I'll stick around with the show if it's another case-of-the-week type show.

Cool. Looks like the internet rumor mill must've been off base. I like the guy playing papa crowder. He isn't a great actor or anything but he does always bring some color and character to his roles.
YonYonson
my dvr seems to be a lemon as it hasnt recorded the last two episodes. i'll be back when i'm caught up.

Ya, I like that guy too. My favorite part of his is on Club Dread:

There's always one fuck-head like you...
trying to shit in the apple pie.
You just shat in the one apple pie that knows how to shit back.

Then he gets killed, but still a great line.

Oh, and Justified has turned out to be a pretty good show.

Violent finale that probably tried to do too much in an hour, but it was damn entertaining. I don't know if they needed to wrap up everything so quickly, and tie off every loose end with a death, but I liked it. Good season, Goggin's was a pleasure to watch and try to figure out.

Yeah, I was never quite sure about his "conversion" until the scene when he was alone at the camp.

There were a couple parts that felt a little "deus ex machina" forced but all in all one heck of a season finale.
El Guapo
Raylan and Boyd's interactions are amazing. This show is very well cast and acted.

Best show on TV?

i've made that argument. season 1 last year was the best show on tv. this year looks good so far.

I just watched seasons one and two in a ridiculously small amount of time. I couldn't stop gobbling through them. This is definitely my favorite procedural on television.

So, if season one was patriarchy, focussing on children and their fathers, and season two was teh awesome matriarchy featuring Mags, what's season three?

Plz o plz let it be a hillbilly Harlan county Sharktopus. Like let loose from a local carnival, and now infesting the water supply?
SuitedAces21
new season starts tuesday. if you arent watching, then fuck you.
