luckydogg, you probably aren't going to get any sympathy from anyone on here. Believe it or not, we all endure the same bad beats. You are just going through a bad run, hang in there and I promise things will turn around for the better. You can't possibly be losing with AA everytime like you claim. Sometimes they are going to get cracked, its part of poker, and you need to learn how to handle bad beats if you are going to take poker seriously.

If you would like to post your bad beats, there is a bad beat thread to do so. Please don't post these in Gen Strat anymore as it has nothing to do with strategy.

bad beats is what makes poker so unpredictable. Remember just because you hold AA doesnt mean they wont be cracked.. Even a few times in a row. If the beats are effecting you too much, have you considered moving down to lower limits to take a bit of the sting away until you grow your bankroll and handle the bad beats better?

Ok. so this may be the nicest (or the dumbest thing) i can do here. I will help you man. with rules. Break any one of them and this little agreement is over. Ok?
Here are the rules:
A.) No bitching in general strat

C.) be realistic with your play

Ok now if you agree to this i will PM you my email. I want you to send me your whole hand history for the last, idk month. Depending on how many hands you play. about 10K hands (if you have that many. if not give me everything you got). If you dont store your history start doing it but also email your site and ask for the histories. I will load it into my pokertracker and look over your lines/ stats and see if anything is glaring.

After this what i want you to do is:
A.) study your sessions after every time you play.
B.) Take excellent notes and observe everyone playing and what they are doing
C.) get the free trial of PT3 if you can
D.) start lurking on here, 2+2 and pokerroad and read everything you can about NLHE. more literature the better.
E.) post hands you have trouble with
F.) post about ideas you have about playing poker and discuss them

do you overplay aa everytime? have you ever folded them during the course of a hand? as you know they are beatable. if you can get it in preflop with them, then great. but if you go through a hand and pressure is really strong, you might be beat. i folded aces on the flop the other day to a call and huge check raise. i fold, other caller shoves. 2 pair vs top pair and flush draw. my aa was behind so i let it go. just because you have overpair doesnt mean your ahead. learn it, apply it op

I played a session the bout a week or two ago where I got it all in pf with KK 3 seperate times....all three times Villain had AA....and it was the same Villain all 3 times. I didn't win one of them. Oh, and they were all for full buy-ins. To add insult to inujury this was in the span of about 200 hands.
