Starts tonight..One of my favourite shows on tv...
Here is the cast:
http://allieiswired.com/archives/2009/10/c...nounced-photos/Cyndi Lauper, Sharon Osbourne, Bret Michaels, Curtis Stone, Rod Blagoyevich, Maria Kanellis, Holly Robinson Peete, Darryl Strawberry, Bill Goldberg, Carol Leifer, Sinbad, and Summer Sanders.
Sharon Osbourne might be the Joan Rivers type of this year..Should be fun.

Sharon Osbourne has never come across as a total bitch to me.

I'm interested to see what Darryl Strawberry is like. I hope he is unstable and not boring. I'm rooting for Sinbad and Summer Sanders. I'm tired of seeing Rod Blagoyovich on TV.

Weird that the VS model wasn't mentioned anywhere.

I thought it was a good opener, the guys seem to have more celeb status I think in their team which is an unfair advantage. Should be a decent season anyway.

Finally! We get to see Bret Michaels as something more than a man-whore! And he's "lost friends to diabetes", which seems a little silly to say, because being diabetic isn't like being a heroin addict (my dad and my best friend's brother are/were diabetic, so it's not like I don't have my own little history with the condition).
Sharon Osbourne will likely eat most of the girls alive.
Cindy should have had the guts to send Carol and Holly into the boardroom (Carol for being kind of fly-by-night and Holly for making an executive decision with Carol's positioning and then kind of blaming it on Carol wtf).
I just want to punch Blagoyovich. I don't care what he did. He just has stupid hair and an irritating demeanour.

Is Cindy Lauper 12 years old?
Why is she acting like she is a kid??
Make a decision already..its a game, someone has to leave.
I am pulling for the guys...I think they have much more celeb status, as was mentioned..Strawman in New york is a huge advantage..
I predict there will be major fights between Cindy and Sharon sometime during the next few weeks.

The only thing I hate about this show is that Donald keeps people for ratings. Cyndi Lauper is a full blown retard, but Donald will keep her for a few weeks because she is more popular than the other girls (besides Sharon Osbourne). I knew before the show even started that Sharon would make it to the end because she is famous, and she works for NBC. She is the best girl anyways though.
Just like the last season, the guys are more fun to watch.

Donald made the right choice. Sinbad was bad. Bret Michaels showed that he is definitely crazy though.
What is up with NBC airing all this Rod Blagoyavich crap. Especially the scene when he was on his cell phone during the task proclaiming his innocence to someone. The whole thing is a shitty publicity stunt, and I'm suprised that NBC and Trump would get involved with it.
Cyndi Lauper.... yeeesh

I m pretty sure, the governor probably demanded to be portrayed in a good light and prove his innocence before agreeing to do the show.
I agree though , the whole phone call thing was pretty much scripted.

I dunno about Bret being crazy. The way it was filmed, Sinbad was just being a fckn punk and turning away from Bret every time Bret tried to pin him down. Sure, Bret could have "found" something to do, like the ever resourceful sprinter dude (who didn't back up Bret much), but Sinbad was a joke as project leader and couldn't express a cohesive thought unless it was a juvenile punchline.
The right guy got fired.

I think Michael Johnson backed up Bret the best he could by saying that Sinbad should be fired. Although Sinbad did a shitty job of delegating, in group assignments if you aren't given something to do, you need to find something to do. That's just the way it is. So I think Johnson was spot on with everything he was saying about Sinbad and Bret. Bret was being a baby, Sinbad was being a shitty project manager.

I agree with that assessment. I just kind of wished that MJ and some of the others didn't have to get pinned down by the boardroom questions before they started being honest, just like in last week's boardroom. Does anyone really think you can get out of there without hurting someone's feeling at least once? I guess it's only a matter of time before Bret has a true meltdown that he'll blame on diabetes.

Wow. I truly think I could have done that better than the guys team by myself. Like obviously Rod B. should have gone home, but wtf did everyone else do? How can you ad lib a Harry Potter presentation when you don't know about Harry Potter? They pretty much had a room with a smoke machine, Goldberg in a tree costume (It's Whomping Willow you idiot), and Rod doing who knows what. And what the hell was Michael doing? What a disaster.

Lol at all of Sharon Osbourne's comments about Summer and Holly being boring as hell. Summer used to work for ESPN for awhile and had that NBA show with Ahmad Rashad. She used to be not boring, but on this show she comes off super boring.

I watched a bit of the show (I'm not a big apprentice fan) but left before I saw how everything went down. I left it off here: The guys were building a castle/library and the girls had the dragon head entrace. Rob was completely useless (sleeping on the plane back and didn't have any idea what to do for the presentation). The other girl was planning everything, emailing, communicating the whole time and the girls just seemed to have it together.
I didn't see either presentation or who went home. Was the girls very good and obvious winners? I assumed the guys were going to lose by a landslide and that Rob or Brett (preferably Rob) would go home.
Can you elaborate would happened in the presentations/boardroom?

The girls presentation was that a kid went into their room and it was like the wandshop in Harry Potter and the kids were presented with a wand. It was very simple, but put together and all the girls played their roles well and had a good presentation.
The guys had a ok looking set, but everything went downhill from there. Rod's plan for the presentation was to have no plan and just wing it. This would work if they knew the story, but nobody did. They kept messing up simple terms. For example they said classes instead of houses, they messed up the names of the houses, it was just horrible. So the kid walked in the room and sat in a chair while the sorting hat put them in a "class." Then they were given a wand and they could make the "whomping willow" (Goldberg in a horrible tree costume) do weird stuff. Like I said, I could have put together a better presentation in like 15 minutes.
In the boardroom Rod got ripped for not knowing how to email or text. He did his politician thing where he campaigned for himself and for Bret. Bret was the obvious one to bring in but instead Rod brought in Michael and the cooking guy because Rod felt that they did not help Bret enough, which was ridiculous because Rod wasn't even there to know who was helping who. Thank god Rod got fired.

How can you be the governor of a major state in the US, and not know how to use a computer or send a text message??

Finally an episode I liked. Both teams did decent jobs (finally). And the right person got fired.
Bret Michaels has impressed me a lot. At the beginning of the season he just seemed a little mental like Cyndi Lauper, but he has really come into his own and now is a threat to win.

So I gotta ask, who got kicked out last night ? I would have bet $20 it was Brett after watching the first hour and 15 mins.

Finally Donald fired Cyndi, if she didn't get fired I would have quit the show. Cyndi IS creative, but she is also batshit crazy and she can't work with or lead a team which is what the show is supposed to be about.
Next week they are weeding it down to 2. Maria is probably the girl who gets fired on the spot. As for who makes it to the end I would like to see Holly and Bret. For some reason I don't see Bret making it though. Sharon could make it only because she is famous and Donald will let someone like her through for ratings. I hope Curtis doesn't make it either although I think he also has a good chance. He is great at pointing out what people are weak at, but he doesn't do that much for the team. If Holly didn't make it to the end that would be complete BS.
I want in the final 2: Holly and Bret
Who Donald will probably pick: Holly and Curtis

Cindi was a train wreck. And I don't have a problem with her saying the red scheme was Holly's idea, but (if I were Cindi) I would have ripped Holly's head off for saying that absolutely everything went through Holly (implying the design specifics were Holly's...which they weren't), as if the tprn curtains and patent leather sofa was Holly's idea.
That holly chick is batshit crazy, too, except she knows how to play the game way better than Lauper. She would make a good wife for Patrick Bateman.
I hate Donald for busting on Bret for being too chill. I mean, the bitches were at each others throats.
Sharon is a howl. She and Maria can come over for dinner anytime. And Curtis can come to, but only if he's cooking.

Good finale. I think Bret should have won even without the sympathy vote. Holly was very good also, but Bret was better.
