Dear god please bet the flop.

I mean, I probably would...especially at this level, but I can see arguments for checking it. I mean, we have flopped a monster against short stacks. With two people in position on us, we can sort of consider trapping. If I've got decent reads on villains being aggro/stupid against a check, it's not bad.

Also, congrats on the Royal. I got my first one in live play on Friday. (I've had 15 online.)

I know it was wrong to check, but it was based on position and villians. The one guy gave me a bad beat earlier in the day and I was looking for revenge. instead of just playing smart, decided to slow play a bit, figured with such a monster draw, I would be good.

The whole session i was betting everytime I hit, and it was getting to the point if I bet, they would just fold, if I check they would end up betting. Sadly it didnt work this time and they both checked, was very uncharacteristic of villians.

So yes,I do agree it was wrong of me to check, I let my ego and need to get revenge rule my play which is never a good thing.

kosin trouble.

NH. I've had one royal. I flopped it after limping UTG with AK suited in 1/2 NL online and the BB folded when I bet $1.50 on the turn. It's hard to get paid with huge hands. It doesn't always work out like in Maverick.
