I vote for the same format as last season, of course. We had 10-12 guys picking 14 or 15 players each. (Guess you need an even number for the snake draft.)

To make it more fun, how about having the draft a couple of weeks beofre the playoffs start?

It would open up the talent pool for some late round fun and make the last couple of weeks of the season very interesting.

I think this would be a good opportunity to get a little wacky with this pool. We could have different skater categories like over 100 PIM, 20 years or younger, 35 years or older, under 30pts, former Leafs... random categories like that.

If we go 14 i propose 12 rounds...Thats pretty deep with 168 players...16 teams in playoffs with an average of just over 10 players per NHL team....Deeper the better...Its fun when guys like Hal Gill score a goal.

I prefer something like a yahoo, espn online draft, but not sure if its available for playoff hockey.

I found this site..It does online draft yahoo style..However there are problems..

Its free, so i booked April 12th at 11pm just for fun..But not sure if it will work.

Ok i have decided we will go with MSN. That website isnt very reliable and they dont have the time we need.

The draft will be on MSN. I think we will go with 12, we will finalize the list before the end of the week. If you dont have me on MSN , pm me your id and i will add you.

Note to Chris so we are clear. This is the NHL PLAYOFF POOL, meaning you cant pick players from the KHL, Swedish Elite League and any other league that has their playoffs going.
