I fully realize I'm out of place commenting on something mentioned in DN's blog on this political forum but I flew Delta this weekend & absolutely loved the free Wi-fi! Poker, drinks & food at 35,000 ft!!! Seems like this should have become available before now (probably would'f if not for 911), but this is a welcome change. What used to be dead time is now fun time!

I have a 15 and a half hour flight from Toronto to Hong Kong in March and it would be so much better if I was able to be online during the flight but it isn't available.

I'd be surprised if a lot of carriers don't get this especially Cathay. I've done the Van-HK flight many times and this would make it awesome.

Delta has been offering WiFi for almost a year now but it has never been free for me but I mostly fly domestically in the US. I believe the charge is $8 US
If I have a choice, I would always fly Delta for this and other reasons

it blows my mind how this is not a standard feature on all flights by now.
