First discussion point. Why did Dan hate Hoch's first Steven Segal top 5 so badly? I thought the top 5 'parrishes' was hilarious. Especially Parrish, France.

I don't really have anything to say about the top 5 list (except that I prefer Roy's top ten), but I love the Steven Seagal show opening.

My favorite show opening, however, is the Don King one. Hamburger, here I am!

Does Don King call him leotard on purpose or is it an accident? If it's an accident, it's way funnier.

I love the Ron McGill segment.

Samson is a cheap, loudmouth piece of crap who likes to pretend he is responsible for the Marlins ability to thrive with a bad payroll (anyone connected with the team knows that Larry Beinfest is the best GM in baseball and is responsible for everything good). If he owed you 23 bucks, he would try to get the city of Miami to foot the bill.

That's right, didn't like it. Definitely didn't "blow my mind" and force me to re-evaluate my life as Samson suggested. Expectations were way too high.

I hate it when Dan's not there. Stugotz is too much when he's flying solo.

yeah, normally i agree.. but today I wanted a little pure, uncut jets gloating, and dan would just rain on that by shouting stu down about the jets not going anywhere in te playoffs. But tomorrow is going to get old, when they get into the hard core football talk for 4 days

The guy is constantly mugging for the cameras and has a clear Napoleon complex......and he somehow tricked the city of Miami into giving him hundreds of millions of dollars to build a stadium for a team few care about at a time when the state is going bankrupt (including the school system which my wife works for).

Angry rant, yes. Crazy, no.

And all the Jets fans down here have been unbearable the last few days.

listen, I didn't say you were wrong... my only exposure to sampson is from the DLS, and I don't care much for his segments, as I don't think much of his taste in movies, and have less than zero interest in the marlins. I do think, if the marlins continue to spend like they do now, after they build that stadium, he should be lynched by the fan base.

All the Iowa talk on Tuesday's show was funny. I like hearing other people talk about my state.

Oh man, listening to Andre Dawson on the podcast made me feel like a kid again. Hearing Stu introduce him as " hall of famer Andre Dawson" gave me chills...

So on Monday they were clowning Henne for hurting his eye, and saying he's got to at least have an eye patch on so we know he's hurt. I just thought of that when I saw Colt McCoy on the sideline with no shoulder wrap or anything. Stugotz and Hoch were right, it doesn't even look like he's hurt.

I think mccoy's injury was psycho somatic.

Dan buying Hoch a leather jacket within 2 weeks of knowing one another is very very weird. I don't ever remember getting something that expensive from any male friend. Ever. Let alone a leather jacket.

He probably bought it out of the trunk of some guy at a gas station, and it wasn't as much as you'd think.

I thought this week was pretty good considering they really did almost go exclusively stugotz. Hoch was used pretty sparingly. I'm looking forward to everyone being back Monday.

Wow, the gall of sampson coming on dan's daily show, and saying he "can't" talk about the agreement with the player's union to have bigger contracts. He says he is contractually unable to because of an agreement between him, the Player's association, and the league. But the reason he is "unable" to say anything, is because he is the one that wanted the agreement. What a scumbag.

I've been reading about this Super Snake, and I'm no longer going to Miami for a wedding in March.

Based only on the show, I like sampson

I think it hurts Dan's point a good deal that Wade Phillips and Norv Turner both got their asses handed to them.

They pocketed revenue money for years and no one said a thing because they wanted to trick Miami into giving them public money for a stadium. NOW that the stadium is a fait accompli, everyone comes out and tells the Marlins to spend. Everyone is a shithead in this situation even the players association. But Samson and Loria are a special breed of *******. They cry poverty while they line their pockets with revenue sharing money. It's a disgrace.

At least they signed Josh Johnson. Now, if only they could go back in time and keep Burnett and Cabrera....

He's a good politician. He convinced a town that doesnt care about professional baseball to spend millions on a pro baseball stadium. That's impressive.

But no one down here actually likes the guy. Him and Loria give us an appreciation of just how amazing Larry Beinfast and his staff is to keep the Marlins competitive every year with one arm tied behind their backs.

Trick Daddy was exceptional. Also, I downloaded the 790theticket Iphone app and I'm going to listen to the show 'live' today, for the first time. It will suck, since the commercial breaks are long and the cussing is cut out... but at least I won't be a day behind anymore.
