Yes, it is interesting that Politico is trying to act as if it is conservatives that started stirring this. No doubt, they will probabloy pick up on it if it goes anywhere, but like you said, it originated with progressives.

Maybe not, But I remember people used to say the same thing about Rush. That he sounded drunk and was slurring words. Turned out they were right, though he wasn't drunk he was high on Oxy and going deaf from the side effects.

I think he may actually be drunk, though, he mumbled and slurred several times and kept repeating himself. Even if he was drunk no damage was done, in fact i may watch more Cspan if they start having their debates righ after Happy Hour.

Hey it is possible. Just giving my two cents. I also try not to jump to conclusions about this because during the recent Miami Hurricanes documentary my buddies and I were making lots of jokes about how Bernie Kosar was smashed during his interviews for it. Turns out his slurring and drunken looking manner was just the result of a series of concussions from his playing days and tons of (legally prescribed) painkillers. I felt really bad after I found that out.
