Do we raise this river or are we cool w/this flat?- im kind of ok with the flat depending on villain but a raise is defendable at the very least

fold turn ?- Never, when we hit a big set we call that turn all day after that flop gets checked around, villain may have 2 pair or a set of queens, maybe 6's but i highly doubt it
It was a 1/2 pot bet we take the odds

on blank i call a 1/2 pot all day,.. on a full pot we crap, i tank call but a fold may be more correct to be honest but i still don't see myself do that

Im still shaky on a raise river or just flat. I think it is a raise in theory, we run into better boat or sometimes quads about the same amount of time we see worst boats so it just depends on if we think villain call with a st8. it is 2PLO, i assume villain calls a raise on river some of the time with a st8, but it is kind of thin, wouldn't blame you for keeping in small on your first hand, I hate getting stack extremely early in sessions so that is my kind of flip flop feeling,... very thin vbet river

I think the river is an easy raise. There is no reason to assume he has you beat and your hand doesn't look like a full-house, so I think you get called light here.

this is A6xx, QQxx, JTxx way more than AAxx

i'd raise the river

I don't know what monkees ya'll play with. I'm playing with the lowest of the low and even these guys don't overplay JT here. certainly they're not betting A6 on this turn. No random dude really is going to 1/2 pot w/the nuts and then pot it when the board pairs...

now at higher limits I suspect you can start to take AA out of the equation because that typically gets 3-bet pf. but not here.

i just added JTxx because it is a possibility.

if youre that sure its AAxx then why even post the hand?

1) it was what I felt to be an interesting spot where raising seemed best, which I don't really agree with

2) to generate some activity on the forum (clearly failing here)

Your point about bet sizing is quite true, and maybe this does weight it more towards a call on the river. Still, I don't particularly see why villain can't have A6 or Q6 here.. But yeah, his bet sizing is consistent with AA so I guess calling is ok.

At those limits - are these guys slow playing top set on the flop? I'm thinking 1/2 poting at least, with two others in? helps take away AA - and makes me want to shove the river to find out, lol. I dont see how you can rule out j10 here either
