It's happening way too often. I just got rivered three times in a tournament on the way out as well, from twice the avg chip stack to nothing.

FRUSTRATIONSSSS

Agreed. I wish there was a "general strategy" to fix this leak but alas.....I have yet to find it.

I think the strategy is to "think positive thoughts.' If you think positive thoughts, positive things will happen to you. If you think negative thoughts, negative things will happen to you. It's a secret I learned from Mike Matusow.

Seriously though, if you get too stressed about results and not just focus on how you played, you'll have a hard time fixing your actual leaks and increase the likelihood of making bad plays/playing in bad spots out of frustration

a couple weeks ago i played in a tourney and lost a big pot early on, got knocked down to 80 chips in the 15/30 level. somehow managed to scrap my way back into the thing, final tabled and finished 3rd.

it's not all bad beats out there

Yeah... except for the dozens of people you sucked out on to get back in it.

Sometimes you do everything right and you still lose.

Focus on what you can do to limit your losses and maximize your wins.

Don't concentrate on results.

I just played a live tournament where we all money went in on the flop. The board was Q 10 9 board. We both tabled 10 9. Turn was a jack river was and 8. We both had str8s. He unfortunately had the 9 10 of diamonds and the jack and the 8 were diamonds to go along with the queen of diamonds.

It happens to us all. And yes it sucks.

Post the key hands in the tournament maybe there is something you could have done better or avoided.

You got it wrong, FTP sucks out on the turn, Stars sucks out on the river

Online is rigged

Maybe you just suck at poker.

Just keep an eye on how many other people at your table get fucked for pots and you'll feel better about things. Trust me, it's not just you...

So true.
viva la cam
very true... think about the time you think your hand is best get it all in on the flop and end up suckin out.. it happens lol

Exactly. You dont remember the times you sucked out but the suckouts against you hit so hard.

When i started playing @17 i would absolutely freak over a suckout, cursing, yelling, etc but you just gotta realize that you played right and got your money in good and you were just hit in the face by the shtty side of variance. Make the same play 100 times and statistically you'll profit.
