button is awful. no reads on MP2
i hate bet/folding this flop since i have bd flush and gutshot outs, plus my pair might still be good.
i assume turn/river are standard, but i dunno.

check calling is slightly sketchy, we only have 4 outs to our st8, assuming our pocket aces are no good, but your both deep enough that i still do it. Check turn was great. I just assume he has to have two pair with 3 high cards, i doubt he is checking turn with a st8 due to the possiblity of a flush draw out there. I think your line looks fine if he really is moving us off are hand here we so got him nailed when we do hit so long term this line is good imo

Why not bet the turn to represent the nut straight?
rrumsey
because he could get reraised a lot. what does he call flop with that folds turn? 2 pair? possibly depending on villain. Naked top pair, unlikely. Unless we have reads and are confident we have villain figured out dont bluff past basic c bets more or less

What was the idea behind check-calling the flop? What were you planning to do on various turn cards?
