Played the $500 HOSE prelim event @ Foxwoods yesterday. Actually had a pretty good table draw with only one kid I knew from the 20-40 mixed games. Start with 6k in chips, levels are 25-50 (5 ante for stud games) and 50 minute levels. In the first level I'm up to 8k as people had some trouble with the stud games (obv) and I made a nut-nut hand in O8 with 4 players in. Then the fun starts...

1st debacle... Hold'Em (I'm on button)

folds to cutoff who calls
I look down at AcAh and 3 bet
BB cold calls
UTG 4 bets, we all call

FLOP: Js Jc Kh

checks around to me and I bet, everyone calls (alarms!!!)

Turn: As

all hell breaks loose and we get 4 bets in with EVERYONE calling

River: 6s

capped again with the BB folding.

I show A's full, cutoff has K's full, UTG has quad J's


Then I win a decent stud hi pot to get back to even...

that left me with 150 chips.. I walked away...

Oh well.. Just needed to vent
