We are back for another year trying to create action and just spread the wealth among the FCP community.

Last couple of years have not gone so well, but we are positive this year we are good to go. I will post all the bets i remember. If we have made a bet and I have forgotten please post and I will update. I encourage you to offer me any bet and i will consider it.

Mostly Leafs bets, Habs Demise bets, Penguin hater bets are the ones i really like..Also bets on my AHL players are good to..Anything creative will be given special consideration..Anywhere from $5 to $50 on most bets..Usually $20-$25 is a good number.

How about I take a team to finish w/ more points than the Leafs? Like the Wild or Panthers? Obv I know the season has started but they are off to slow starts.

Or something like that. I was just using that as an example because I don't have any ideas.

Serge, we have a couple of bets...I just can't remember the specifics. I know we have our haircut bet in the AHL. We have our usual Yahoo bet. We also have a bet about Toronto and Montreal and the playoffs. We need to find the details and we need more bets.

EDIT: Oh yeah, we have our Mustangs vs Gothic bet for $20 and a big beer per game. I'm up $20 and a big beer btw.

UPDATE:
Leaf lottery bet (serge bets the leafs WONT be a lottery team and lays 7-1 for $50) : Last year, 80 points was the cutoff for the lottery teams. The leafs have 44 points with 30 games remaining. That means they will require 36 points in 30 games to dodge the lottery bet, certainly an achievable mark. However, since I'm getting 7-1 on this bet, I think they are a LOT less than 7-1 dogs at this point to be a lottery team. Should be a good sweat to the finish.

Kessel 40 goal pro-rated bet (serge bets that kessel WILL be a pro-rated 40 goal scorer and gets 3-1 for $50): Kessel will need to score 35 goals in 70 games (He missed 12 at the start of the season) to hit a pro-rated 40 goal season. He currently has 15 goals. That means he will have to score 20 goals in 30 games to win this bet for serge. I thought this one was a lock for serge to win, but right now it looks like a lock for me.

Assuming Edmonton is dead and we can stay with Carolina...We have to pass three teams..Catching 3 out of Islanders,Columbus,Florida and Boston shouldnt be that tough IF AND IF we keep playing like this..

You want to bet they play .500 hockey, or that they average a point a game? THEY'RE DIFFERENT.

The leafs are currently 14th in the league with 162 GF. They have also played 60 games (tied for the most). This probably puts them as even money, or a slight dog in regards to our bet about them being in the top half of the league.

However, I am willing to buy you out of that $25 bet for $2 right now, because I'm tired of cheering against them!

Please only accept my offer if you are comfortable with it on a betting basis, not because you want to encourage a Leafs fan. I know that's what you want in your heart, so not necessary for you to hurt your wallet to do so.
