Yuh, it sucks... Better than starting from freerolling lol... Im gonna have to play for my bankroll

buying in for 50 cents is ridiculous

Where's the roll?

Plan A would be to hit and run cash game (you won't make friends doing this, or become a better player, but it's profitable enough).

Sit with min buyin, wait for somebody who isn't a rock to raise, and then shove on them (expect to be called occasionally, so try to at least have some paint). About 80 percent of the time, they'll fold. Now run. Find another game and repeat this process. If you try this move more than once at a penny table, someone will look you up. Sound like fun? Well, it isn't. It's profitable, but just barely.

Plan B - I've run up freeroll bankrolls three times now using plan B. Once I get about $20. I plan $1.20 sngs. If I get horribly unlikely, I will go broke. But so far that hasn't happened. You have to play these things even tighten than normal, IMO, in an attempt to reduce your variance as much as possible. Always play to cash, not to win. Don't be a hero. Even against these idiots.

Plan C - Cash games. Buy in for 2x min. Look for soft game. Play your best. Leave when you double your buyin. Repeat. There's a little more risk than Plan A, but you'll actually get better at poker this way.

Multi table $0.10 360's and $0.25 45's/90's.

It will take time but it will make you a better person/player and give you a lot more satisfaction. Do it the hard way!

I hate the layout on pokerstars... Plus how slow the cards are. I love FTP... Why dont you?
Darth Maple
FTP hates me

I can't win over there. Plus multi tabling over there is a million times worse than at PS. More micro stakes games available at PStars too.

I like the multi tabling at FTP. But I do wish it had the 10 cent 90 player SNG.. $1 is minimum i guess.

full tilt is glitcher and will lose connection more but layout is amazing. you will get used to the site the more you play it really doesn't matter. get a rake back!!!
Shark527
put $2 on .01/.02 cent 6 max tables, either NL or PLO. If you don't make money playing those, give up poker forever.

Play until you reach $120, then switch to .02/.05 and repeat.

Or, if you do switch to Stars and like the SNG route, do the $1.10 double or nothings
rrumsey
or just save up a few more dollars and play with at least full stack at .01-.02 or .02-.05 with 20 buy ins behind. $20 is sssooo little money man my razor blade refills cost more than that! or just play fake chip! i mean you need to try and take it a little seriously or your going to go so broke so quick
pbwl11
I started with the free $5 you get on PS for signing up and played .01/.02 limit single table about 6 months ago.

You wanna talk about a boring slow grind

When I got to $10 I started playing 4 tables and now I'm up to $17.

Go me!

My bankroll is nearly 50 Dollars now. So im not doing so bad. I profit from the NLHE cash games the most but i also like HU SNGs and 6, 9 and 90 player ones. But believe you need a deeper bankroll for 6, 9 and definely 90 player SNGS. I'll stick to playing .01/.02 cash games and sometimes when i profit i will play SNGS. My goal is 200 before the end of the month.

Buy disposable razors? lol

Before, i had a 2000 bankroll but i blew it at the casino in 3 stupid bets. BAD MOVE.

So now im at the bottom grinding for a long time building it slow.
Darth Maple
I logged onto FTP before and I've got like $17 on there. I'm going to grind $1.10 HU SNG's.

On Pokerstars they have $.25 45/90 man sng's that have a decent structure. You should be playing those as that is all you are properly rolled for, depending on how new you are to the game. If you are not new to the game, you could most likely play the $1.20 9-man sng's without going busto unless you ran rediculously bad. The choice is yours in the long run, just many variables go into making the correct decision. Good Luck!

My fav is the cash games NLHE with any amount of players.

but also like HU SNG, 6-9 or 90 SNG. or bigger tournies but they are only profitable with a bigger BR.
Darth Maple
I'm performing a Boku87 on Stars. To be fair I'm well into it and my $3 is now $20.79 (45 SNG's later)
Donnie Ray
start with .25 or $1 sit n gos

I wouldn't be too sure that UB offers such a rakeback deal.

Absolutely this. Play the 0.10 - 360's

The 10c - 360's will teach you how to multi-table without going insane. 1st place is 8 bucks. Play every single one that fills up while you're playing.

10c - 360 = reach $50 and move up to the $1 - 45 man

That's what I did. You could go grind micro cash games too, but they're too boring imo, at least at the stakes I played.
