Ugh give us a break, already another season?

My thoughts on the show tonight: I'm over the tappers. There are no tap routines on the show. I'm sure the 3 will be ok at other things, but its a specialized dance. I'm guessing the white guy tapper will be like his brother last season. He will be an ok dancer that shouldn't make it that far, but he'll make it to the end because he has had a fan base even before this season started.

I liked the salsa chick even though her teeth looked kind of jacked up.

I wasn't really that excited about anyone. The previews for next week looked good though.

I was hoping the psycho black guy was going to be good, he sucked.

The breaker was pretty amazing, hopefully he can do other stuff.

The fat guy, skinny guy duo sucked. When I was in New York there were a ton of dance crews dancing on street corners for money. Every crew had a fat guy for entertainment purposes, and all the fat guys would have blown the guy on the show out of the water.

I only like the top 20 portion of the show.

I was extremely happy when Evan's brother (the tap dancing broadway guy) got cut.

My favorite dancer from all the auditions was the New Orleans Bounce guy.

So happy that Evan's brother is gone. We do NOT need another mascot.

Now the show is finally starting for me. I still don't know what "B-Boy" actually means.

B-Boy means they are really good at hip hop but they suck at everything else.

Legacy sucks at all the other dances. Why prolong his stay and have him dance for his life? Obviously he is going to do an amazing hip hop solo, but that doesn't change that he sucks at everything else.

because it's a tv show. And I was looking for what the "B" stands for. I'm not interested enough to look it up though. And yeah, he'll be gone faster than I cum during intercourse.

So, reports are that Mia Michaels is no longer affiliated with the show. Most likely due to a power play of Adam Shankman being made the permanent third judge. Oh well, I did enjoy most of her routines.

They are going to use Laurie Ann Gibson a lot more I think. She is the black chick who always fights with P Diddy in all his reality shows.

What BS man. Legacy made it? He seemed weak in the other stuff. What's worse. the really, really cute chick with the short hair at the end turning down the top 20 spot. She was hot.

The ballroom chicks at the end are ok. I like the red hair but her face is rough. The other tall latina ballroom chick has a great ass. The black chicks are basically ugly. That hillbilly that kept crying made me want to kill myself and the blond girl acts about 10 years old, and I ain't Dutch, that ain't hot. Her friend was ok, but a dummy.

Concur. Even the contemporary routine that they claimed to like (the one he of course cried after because HE FOUND SOMETHING IN HIMSELF HE NEVER KNEW WAS THERE) seemed pretty bad in my opinion.

I agree with all of this. The chick that quit was smoking hot. The only girl that is hot is the blond soccer player girl.

I think they let more hip-hoppers in because the hip-hop last season sucked.

Woop de doo 3 tap dancers. They will get to use their talents in the bottom 3 each week when they are doing there solos.

Yeah Legacy probably shouldn't have made it. It isn't the 20 best dancers though, it is the 20 who they think will make a good TV show. We will get to see some awesome solos from him before he is cut in the middle of the pack.

The only thing I don't think is fair is that some of the top 20 get more TV time in the auditions than others. Going into the first show there is not an even playing field. There were some I didn't recall being shown once, and Legacy goes into the show already having a fan base. It is part of the reason I think Evan went so far last season. Him and his brother were the main story line of all the Vegas audition shows.

Then Legacy (real name Jonathan) comes along and brings that stereotype right back (b-boy is close enough to hip-hop or krump in terms of one-dimensionalness)

Mollee Grey is still my favorite girl. I want to make babies with her. Although I liked her hair in Vegas week more than I did tonight.

I thought the hip-hop routine was good tonight (I especially liked the foot bridge Kevin and Russell made) and Russell is still by far my favorite dancer this season.


I also rewatched the opening dance a few times because it was really sweet.

Ok so I broke down and watched this show for the first time tonight. I really like the opening dance sequence, very well done. The hip hop routine was good but not great, ive seen better on Americas best dance crew. The foot bridge was good with legacy doing a varation of crickets going backwards under it. The tap routine was boring to me, i doubt they will survive long. The jazz thing was ok except for the outfits. The last dance was really really good.

Im rooting for all 3 hip hop dancers since thats what i do now (just freestyle no choreo) and used to b-boy a few years ago. Im glad to see krumping on here as its been pretty underground for a while now and im actually surprised it made it onto a show like this.

Concert was ok. Good seats, tons of teenaged girls, which are annoying btw. Lots of correct aged tang though

I'm guessing they changed her hair and put a lot of makeup on her because they want her to look and act older. The curly blond hair made her look 12 years old. That's probably why you liked her .

The tappers were boring as hell just like I thought. No point of having them on since there won't be any partner tap routines. They better do well in the partner routines, because if they get voted in the bottom 3 their solos aren't going to be as good as the other dancers.

Nice creative choreagraphy in the hip hop routine. While Kevin and Russel were doing the difficult partner stuff, Legacy was off doing his own stunt. I still see him flopping in all the dances aside from hip hop.

The routine at the beginning with all the dancers was really good.

The judges are rigged. I trust America's voting more than I trust the judges.

The asian guy short girl couple had one of my favorite routines. I can mayyybe see the asian guy in the bottom 2, but not his partner. They only gave her good critiques, why was she in the bottom?

The crumper obviously didn't belong in the bottom. Did they put him in the bottom because they knew he would blow the asian out of the water in the solo, and so they could tell the asian he could try out again next season. I really think the judges decided he was going before the show even started.

I'm ok with the girl who went home, her hip hop routine was pretty bad. Her partner the white guy tap dancer should have been in the bottom 2 also. I think the black girl tap dancer was worse than the girl who went home though.

I was confused with the routine with the hip hop guy and latin dancer. The hip hop guy looked horrible but they gave him good critiques.

Overall I wasn't that excited about any of the routines. I remember last season almost all the routines were good the first week. The highlight of the show was the guy crumping in his solo.

You know who suck? Tabitha and Napoleon (aka "Tabitheranapoleon"). The judges constantly praise them, but their routines never make anyone look good. They are total phonies. I don't think I have ever liked a dance they choreographed.

I was shocked Russell was in bottom 2. He is soooo talented and just a sick dancer. I WAS glad we got to see his krump solo. There was some serious passion in it and I think he will DEF be a crowd favorite once it hits the voting.

Pauline wasn't bad at all and I was surprised to see her in the bottom two and yeah the one who went home and the tap dancer were baaad. The hip-hop/latin one was veryyyy bad I thought and I was excited to hear the judges bash them but they didn't and that did not make me happy.

I hate Disco, but I thought that routine was my favorite of the night, but I like both those dancers (especially the love of my life, Mollee)

I completely agree. This is my first season watching this show and that first hip hop routine made my head hurt,. I mean WTF was that. The music was terrible and i doubt any hip hop dancers could have made that routine look good. The second hip hop routine was outstanding. Loved the song choice and loved the direction.

The best routine of the night though was probably the disco routine at the end.

Russel being in the bottom 2 was a joke. The asian kid obv was going home. You cant not make the top 20 and expect to stay.

Why does it seem like two out of three of their routines involve robots or crash test dummies or something. Enough already.

I disagree about Tabithernapoleon they have had some amazing routines in the past.

I recommend you guys watch the show without listening to the judges at all. After watching it again the hip hop routine with the tap guy and contemperary girl (tfdsfddsnapoleon) did not seem that bad at all.

The best dance by far seemed like it was the white contemperary guy and the girl with the husband.

I'm not watching the judges at all anymore. They always agree with each other. The first guy is the only guy who is valid, but he is gay and annoying. The chick in the middle knows what she is talking about, but all she does is scream because that is her gimmick, all Nigel knows about is tap dancing, he is honest but he doesn't know shit. He is the reason for all the crappy tappers this season. TAP SUCKS NOBODY CARES!!!

Even though the show started off bad tonight, the last 6 or so routines were really good, and I finally got interested in the show again. Great dancing and choreagraphy (except for the tennis hip hop routine, wtf was that).

I agreed with everyone in the bottom 4 and with who went home. Noelle wasn't great at hip hop but I think she will do well in other dances while the tap dance girl wasn't doing well in dances that she should be good at. The tap dance guy could barely even lift his partner.

I disagree completely. He is the only one I care to listen to. He gives good criticism, he is funny and he is honest. He will also call out the choreographers to a certain extend.

to answer this question, I will ask you to do me one favor. Turn on NBC at 8pm on Tuesday. If you don't see more tears in the first 20 minutes than every season of SYTYCD combined, I will fly to your house and jerk you off. The Biggest Loser is just crying and working out. It's awful

You are right I forgot about Biggest Loser lol. I just hate the concept of the show.... they are all trying to lose weight but vote people off? Doesn't make sense. You would think that they wouldn't vote anyone off if they want everyone to lose weight.

I have always hated Phillip and Bianca so I am glad they are finally gone.

I also love Wade Robson's routines...

He did that opening scene for the top 20 introduction show which I loved...and I just like all his routines in general.

I enjoyed that routine also. I agree with the judges how it was controversial though, because they didn't really show anything off. Like what kind of style was that supposed to be? Contemperary? Because they were kind of just making weird movements and that was it. I was still entertained though.

He is the ONLY one who will give ANY negative criticism to the choreographers.....I like that. Although Nigel did comment negatively on that stupid Russian folk dance Philip and Janine had to do last season....

Yeah there were tough routines and people were out of their element, but I just don't think most of the dancers are that good outside of their styles. If you put last seasons cast on this season I think they would have danced the routines tonight a lot better. This group is not even close to "the best cast ever."

My first season was season four, with Joshua, katie, Twitch, etc and I think they've been the best, or is it they just had the best routines??? Who knows?

Last season seems better than this one, or is that just because we saw the entire picture? I mean, I barely remember the first couple of vote offs from the first two seasons I watched, so I guess time will tell.


Sadly, there are only two really hot broads in this season, Karen and Channing. The rest are ok, but young and nothing spectacular. Golly Miss Mollee is wholly unsexy. Sad for an 18 year old hard body, but she's just sooooo young. Oddly, age didn't bother me in previous seasons, she, and a few of the other girls, just come off so young. Jeanine and Kayla from last season were 18 or 19 and you couldn't tell.


also, they sure are pushing hard for Legacy. Why I don't know? He keeps getting hip hop or contemporary? Calling that broadway or jazz was a stretch IMO. I'd love to see him get the foxtrot or pasa doble or something. He'll fall on his face, as he should.

I also think Legacy's partner Katherine is hot. She looked great in those short shorts last night. The judges gave her crap for not acting in character and for being all happy and smiley when she was supposed to be all angry. I have a feeling the choreagraphy required her to be all happy and smily though so I think the choreagrapher screwed up, not her.

The show really picked up last night. Out of 7 I think there was only 1 routine that wasn't good. If you guys recorded this I recommend that you watch it.
