I don't know, I think the worst move in survivor history was James from China. He had BOTH idols, told everyone he had them and then never played them and was voted out in like 6th or 7th. Once everyone knows you have them and you were physically the strongest competitor that season that put a pretty big target on him.
I still think this guy made the worst move in survivor history.

Sucks Russell wasted his immunity idol but you can't risk being the idiot survivor to get voted out with it in your pocket.
Like Eric.
I'm pretty happy that I picked Jaison over Erik now... especially since Jaison seems to be in pretty good shape now that the merge is here. He's pretty good politically, but man does he take everything personal or what. Crap man... lighten up, or you're gone.
Erik really imploded.

lol...I don't think people would have voted against Erik if he hadn't been such a dick at tribal. Certainly Russell would have got a couple of votes. And, although it wasn't the worst move, if Russell could do math on the fly and could read people like he says he can, he would have known not to play his idol.
Here's how I saw the votes going down, pre-Erik spew:
Shambo: Monica or Jaison
Erik: Jaison
Russell: Erik
Monica: Erik
Nathalie: Erik
Jaison: Erik
Dave: Jaison
John: Erik
Brett: Who knows anything about this dude???
Laura: Shambo or Erik
Kelly: Jaison
Mick: Erik
Even pre-spew, he was likely gone...He flushed the Russell idol out, so good work on that, but the blind-side worked reaaaaaal good. Of course, I'm not there, so I couldn't possibly get a "sense" of what is happening. If it was as chaotic as Russell said, I certainly do't blame him for playing it safe, but now he's been outed and he's at risk.
All of which means Monica will continue to glide gorgeously under the radar. Is there any doubt she's the hottest woman this season?
There ended up being more things wrong with this post than just the first sentence.
1. No one changed their vote at tribal. That's why there is almost never 3 names written down. Everyone knows who's going home.
2. Shambo is 100% voting with Russell's tribe. She likes them.
3. Natalie is WAY hotter than Monica. It's not close, in my mind. I'm not attracted to Monica.... but that probably has to do with her looks/personality combination.

I disagree with this. I think they are both equally hot, just different color hair and skin. They are pretty much the same. I think the blond girl with the shitty dreads is way hot also.

People change their opinions, but not their votes. Sometimes it happens in the first 1 or 2 tribals where someone will say "I'm just going to vote for who I feel should go." These people are either:
1) Full of shit
2) Haven't thought about the game or alliances at all
3) Are getting voted off and nobody will tell them who to vote off
Sometimes you will see someone vote for a person who they got into an argument with at tribal, but that person almost always gets voted off.
So it is possible for someone to change their vote at tribal, but in most cases these people are horrible at playing the game (Shambo).

QUOTE (brvheart @ Sunday, November 8th, 2009, 2:47 PM)

I have no idea actually.
I know Jaison did get 2 votes. Erik, and I think the 2nd was Shambo because John, Brett, Dave etc from old Galu don't tell her anything since she can't keep quiet.
If Shambo wasn't already aware she's an outcast, this should def open her eyes. She's the only one that didn't know the plan at tribal (except Erik obv).
I'm not saying never, but at this particular tribal council, I think everyone knew going in who they were voting for. Even if it's not what you truly want sometimes, once you know the majority is voting someone off, you don't want to stick out by voting against them.
And I also find Natalie, Kelly, and Ashley (before she was kicked off) more attractive than Monica. Hard to explain. Logically, I know I should find Monica attractive. But I just don't. Could be her personality, voice, or her general worthlessness in the game.

What a game shifter, Russell just jumped up a few notches on the respectability level. Seeing Dave's reaction was hilarious, "wooow".
I'm kind of torn, never thought I'd cheer for shambo but she has to make the full switch to keep russell & his crew in the game. However, if she goes next week I win my bet although that seems to be very unlikely unless her old alliance feels betrayed.

Russel is now tied with Fairplay for being my favorite Survivors. He is so awesome. His level of awesome is so high that I was with Governator in rooting for Shambo. How sick would a final 2 with Shambo and Russel be? If Shambo sticks with them it will be 5 vs 5, better start learning how to build fire ladies!
If the purple tribe had any sense at all they would vote for anybody but Russel next week, unless one of them finds the immunity idol first.

Absolutely awesome episode. I also fist-pumped Tiger style.
Russell rocks, but still has a HUGE target on his back. I would love to see him go deep now.
Ok, since nobody mentioned it, I will. I get that Russell has used a common hatred of Laura to cement his relationship with Shambo, but once she won immunity, why target Kelly? Really?
She is stronger than Monica in comparison, but if you're going to use an idol and blindside someone of your choosing, why not take out someone a little stronger like John, Dave, or Brett? Or is Shambo still under the impression that she's only an outcast with the ladies (Monica, Laura, Kelly) and is still good with the guys so she was only targeting the women?
Russell may already be the best survivor ever. And if you're still in the game, can you ever let him out of your sight to go alone anywhere without being paranoid about him finding another idol? I love that Probst already told them the idol was back in play.

The previews show him running around trying to find it and Laura and the rest of the her tribe literally running after him chasing him, ahhahahahahaha
What a ridiculous episodeeeeeeee! One of the best. Really wanted Laura gone again. Russell probably could have knocked her out of that challenge, but he got a little cocky as soon as he snagged the bag and didnt rush it back at first then it was too late.
My boy Dave is certainly going to get some backlash for not even considering that Russell could have had the idol after that idea was brought up.

I also was trying to figure that one out last night, I think Shambo had more of a say who should go if Laura won immunity. Russell ultimately has to let her make that decision if he wants her on his side. I'm guessing that's why a guy didn't go home.

Great episode.
I thought Russell was going to be in trouble because they never showed him trying to make moves with the other tribe before tribal. I would have thought Dave and the rest would be suspicious that he wasn't trying to save his own skin. This would lead them to change their vote to someone else thinking Russell had immunity again. I guess their belief that he couldn't find the idol with no clues again got the worst of them.
I would say Natalie vs Monica in a fire competition next week. If I was Foa Foa and I won immunity next week I would give it to Natalie because the other 4 should destroy Monica in a fire making contest (except maybe Jayson) and they will finally have the #'s.

Even if Shambo stayed loyal (as she did) they were only in a 7:4 advantage. If the "Russell 4" stay loyal you can't split and have enough for a back-up plan that works. They still need 5 solid (perhaps 6 if you don't trust Shambo) to counter the "Russell 4". The only other option was to flush out the idol by keeping Shambo ignorant (redundancy) and not actually voting for Russell.
