As the global economy teeters on the brink of disaster, a young Wall Street trader partners with disgraced former Wall Street corporate raider Gordon Gekko...Ok, so far I'm interested. I also like the idea of Gekko after prison.
...on a two-tiered mission: To alert the financial community to the coming doom, and to find out who was responsible for the death of the young trader's mentor.lol

I was more interested, then I rewatched the trailer. Now I'm thinking Michael Douglas has one good performance left in him, and Solitary Man got it.

I'm so worried about this film. I am such a huge Wallstreet fan that I'm afraid number two will ruin the original for me like Robocop. Ya, y'all forget how good the first one was because the sequel sucked so much arse.

"Although the financial market subject matter resonates as strongly amid today's economic woes as in the insider trading days of the original picture, "Money Never Sleeps" is as bad an investment as a credit default swap. "

"Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" is a massive disappointment. I can only hope that this convinces studios and filmmakers that Shia LaBeouf does not have the dramatic heft necessary to carry a film that doesn't feature "Transformers" toys.
He already helped wreck the 2008 "Indiana Jones" sequel, and now, he blunders his way through this forgettable mess. "Money Never Sleeps" is LaBeouf's movie, to its downfall. But there's plenty of blame to go around.
