Basics

a. 8-10 players
b. Each player drafts Pass Offense and Run Offense (3-4 of each)
c. Run and Pass each have TDs and Yards as scoring categories
d. Play 2 Run and 2 Pass teams per week
e. snake draft with a randomly determined order. Takes place in the forum via posting.
f. compare your score in each of the 4 categories every week to one player

Advanced

a. a pass thrown for an INT-TD counts as -1 to your Pass TD count. a fumble recovered for a TD counts as a -1 to your Run TD count. Special teams plays do not factor

We have a little experience with this as we did a slightly different version in the playoffs last year.

My vote.

The only reason I like fantasy sports is to add a little interest to games I wouldn't normally care about, but if I'm going up against everybody, that puts a lot of teams into play. I'd rather just have my four teams and my opponent's four teams to care about.

do we want to pool TD and Yards from each type (run and pass) into one category (TD and Yards) as opposed to two categories for each (Run TD, Run Yards, Pass TD, Pass Yards)? currently we are scoring each of the four categories separately. I like how we have it but discussion ain't a bad thing

I suppose the argument for pooling TD's would be increasing the impact of a really great performance, which has some merit. But I'd rather keep everything separate.

5 people is not enough. plus there's a game on thursday and we haven't drafted yet.

maybe we can start it later in the season. might be less guessing that way?
