I saw a commercial for this film the other day and it hooked me.

seems like what Jarhead tried to accomplish but fell short. Anyone else intrigued?

Was going to make a post about it. Really good. IMO better then Jarhead. Go see it!

I thought jarhead was boring as all hell, im still waiting for something to happen, i guess i just expected more from it.

This movie looks pretty good though, ill give it a shot.

Yeah agreed, I never liked jarhead, like you said nothing happens. Black Hawk Down though is one of my favorite movies

I saw it about a month ago, and I'm still thinking about it. It's a great movie, with a high level of believable stress and danger. Tons of atmosphere and action (it was shot in Jordan, and Bigelow used four or five cameras to capture the big action scenes).

I love movies, I love going to see movies in the theater. It's disconcerting to me that most of the movie going audience will pay to see Crapmeister Bay's Transformers 2, but a great action movie like this, will have a smaller audience.

The Hurt Locker is a great action movie, and one of the best movies about war I've seen in a long time. Sooner or later, a female director is going to win the Best Picture Oscar. I'd be really happy if it were this movie.
