You can see her point though.. Simon is reportedly going to get $160 mill for the year, Seacrest getting like $15 mill per year now.... $2 mill does seem kinda small in that context. I don't think she has the same value as those two, but the show is making craploads of money it certainly makes sense for her to try and get more.

Randy is locked up through 2011 already. I think Ryan is pretty important to the show. They really can't lose him or Simon.

The show makes about $1 billion per season, and without Simon Cowell there's no show whatsoever, no one would watch it. I don't think it's that far out of line to be honest.
Just pisses me off that I'm not the guy who gets $160 million to tell people they suck for a living. I'd be good at that job.
