Once again, I find myself with a marginal hand out of position. My first hand at the table, with no reads. A10 and JJ are more than likely in his range, and KK, QQ are also possible.

Lately, I have been finding myself in this tough spots with marginal hands. Whether it be KQ, KJ, A10 all hands like that. I find it difficult to handle these hands pre flop and playing them post flop. I just find myself in really tough spots with these types of hands. Any advice on how to play these?

Puke/call

Stats on villain would help.

Your line so far is fine.

Stove it vs all 2 pair + hands and see what you get. Too tired to do it myself smile.gif

If he has a high steal percentage you an 3-bet pf occasionally here.

Your check raise is way too small. Make it like 4x, you really don't want to make a small check raise on this board it's much too dangerous. This is an easy turbo call. He can easily have AA/AK/KJ/QJ/pair +T for all the times he has set, AT, 9T.

agree puke call and possible punch small baby after you clean up the vomit when he does have the st8 but nothing we could do if he hit it then it was just a sick cooler

I think I hate every move on this hand, you can fold pre flop to a 4bb raise, especially to an unknown on your first hand
I like leading the flop, and ifI"m check raising I'm check raising harder

As played you have no info so it's up to how much gamble you have in you

This overbet is ridiculous and virtually uncallable without info on villain.
