Prob call/call. You really shouldn't be flatting that c/r though, the board is so drawy that he'll prob get it in with a draw and if he doesn't have a draw a bunch fo cards will kill your action. I really think not 3betting there is a big mistake.

Also, I'm not sure how you table select and it might be a soft table, but picking tables with a bunch of people that buyin less than $25 is usually a good table because they won't be regs. So just by stack sizes, that table doesn't look great.

Yeah. It's a dream to get c/r when you flop top set. Just raise him back. No need to get tricky. He's indicated he's strong and you have the nuts. Not much more info needed.

Yeah, i used to love doing shizz like this, gettin funky with strong hands. -EV in the long run. What if he has 3c3h. you call the turn,
and the river is a Xd. Itll go check check, and youve lost like a possible $20+, when you could have just got the lot in the middle on the flop.
Like BBR says, you have the nuts. 3bet!

Its 25NL. You have the nuts and you get C/R. No decision.

As for here, call and hope the board pairs, if it does, lead out like $6 IMO
Otherwise c/c. Do we ever fold here, unless a diamond hits the river?

Not that this impacts the hand in this case but I've noticed when people post hands they only refer to the standard VPIP/PFR/AF stats, which are of limited relevance when villain is calling a raise in the SB. It would be much more informative to know his call raise % and specifically how often he calls raises in the blinds. Someone running at 17/12 might like to defend his blinds, or might be an extremely tight blind defender.

From what I've seen he's not too positionally aware or just likes playing OOP.

I'm going to close this thread off because I was pretty sure I just totally blew it on the flop, and you guys confirmed that. I have FPS and I need to stop.

villian probably has ak diamond draw or an overpair repop and hope he shoves. B E A U T I F U L to be reraised with the nuts on flop. only way you lose this hand is him donk calling or shoving a flush draw or KK hitting turn i think

I sorta missed this, but this is how I table select too, and it's a good idea if you don't really know what you're looking for in table selecting, you're looking for fishy-wishies.

yeah this hand has pretty much been answered but I'd like to add that a flop c/r is pretty much a hand they are going to get in on the flop or a bluff which will likely give up on the turn if you call the flop, so slowplaying is not getting any extra value out of any part of his range.

This is all very general advice ofcourse, some aggro players will follow up flop c/r bluffs with turn bluffs, but you would have noticed for sure they are aggro bluffy players already.
