So after Ivey won the bracelet in this game, my roommate has become obsessed with the game (he's bad at poker)
Blind are 2-5 and we're both on stacks of ~300
Hero is dealt T-9-8-3-2
Villain raises to 10
Hero raises to 25
Villain raises to 60
Hero calls
Okay so far? 3-bet more? to 35?
Both stand pat.
Okay?
Hero checks
Villains shoves for 240
Hero?
I was going to check/call as his standing pat threw me for a loop. He could do this with AKKQJ just as likely as 87543 or AQ974
Ha, I know this is kind of ridiculous, but I'd appreciate any input.
TY and GL, all!

If he would snow you with any five cards then you would have to call this. Heads up you definitely need a feel for how your opponent plays the game and how he's adjusted to heads up.
Since he's horrible at poker then you should either have a read (if this is live), or just fold and get a better spot since you feel you can outplay him.

i would 5b to like 120/fold predraw, or possibly even fold to the 4bet. you don't really have a redraw is the problem. even if you catch a 4, your hand strength doesn't change very much. you're much better off deciding if you're good on predraw info when you hold 910 type hands, especially 7910 and 8910.
that said, i think that if you 3bet bigger predraw, you can more safely fold to a 4bet and probably save yourself money.
finally, if you have a big edge, don't play big pots with tens.

Have to start playing this game.
It depends how loose how much action there is in the game, if it's a lot I call if not wait.

I disagree with the opinions so far, realisticlly your opponent wont fold any good hands to a turn shove especially if the turn put out some possible draws and the pot will be too big on the turn already to convince anyone to fold a reasonable hand. With good/ reasonable hands I mean a pair a draw or top pair and better.
