Hi Folks. Some of you don't know me, but those who do know I'm not a crook. Well they really have no idea I guess but some of them might say it to look like cool forum veterans. They're the real dorks.
Anyways...does anyone have an MLB.TV password they can lend me? I want to see if it'll stream on my very old, very crappy computer before paying for it. I realize it might catch on to someone logging on from a different IP, but I presume they wouldn't have a big problem with that as long as it wasn't at the same time. I'd co-ordinate with you to avoid that.
Also, how do people find it? I'd likely buy the cheaper version as I don't see many benefits of the premium one. Can you go back to a previous date without it telling you the score?
Well, I only loan mine to current members of the sick thread.
Currently (and the for the past 5 years) I've gone with 3-6 people on one or two accounts, and tried to split the difference for the year. Currently, I'd have to recommend you go with the hi-def settings, as it is way more than worth the extra ~$40 for the quality of HD games. I also have the comcast cable package, and I only get 1-2 HD games a nights. With the internets, its almost every game in HD.
That being said, my iffy-cable connection doesn't stream as well as it should, and watching 4 HD games at once tends to take up a bit of bandwidth. If bw isn't an issue, then I don't know how a crappy old computer will run HD-quality stuff. My computer isn't anywhere near top of the line, but it's not awful either.
Also, I'm not giving you my password. Sorry. I think they have monthly sign-up things. If not, sorry. Spend the money, its one of the best deals in sports right now.
