Who is in Vegas early June?

Might be heading out there for a couple of days. I heard that ARP and Zach possibly will be out there around this time. Anyone else?

I'll be out there, I haven't created my tourney schedule yet though, so I don't know when I'm available!

Don't fleece me yo! To be honest I'm not sure I'll even watch the finals, I'm not really in a hockey mood anymore. But if there's a bunch of us meeting up, I guess I can handle 1 game and prop betting and beer and shots.

What everyone should do is make an attempt and go out for Frozen Fury September 26th at the MGM Grand. Go see a playoff atmosphere at a Preseason game.

I am too. I would have dragged my wife and 3 kids to Vegas too but unfortunately just got back from Orlando yesterday.

I will be going to Vegas in September I believe. That is our plan anyway. Hopefully next year though we can get a FCHL trip for the draft.

Honestly Chris, I heard about the awards before I finalized my trip, and thought it might be cool, but I think it'd probably be kinda boring to actually be at. I dunno, maybe we'll run into guys who are vacationing there before the awards. Heh.

Hey Arp, I am coming in June 3rd and leaving June 6. What are the dates for the finals? Hopefully there is a game June 4 or June 5 and we can get Zach, Ray, Chris and others to join us for the game.

Finals dates will be set once the Det-Chi series ends I guess.

My buddy and I are at MGM too. Thats a good rate for the Fri and Sat. We're paying $50 weekdays, $70 weekends. And hoping to get comped!

Game 1 Saturday: Im on my Westjet flight for the game. Im loving that I get to kill my time by watching a game.

Game 2 Sunday: I thought any game this day was supposed to be at 5pm EST/night? If its earlier, well, then Im shit out of luck. Im working the whole day, and wont be out of there earlier than 5pm. Anyway, if Denver wins on Friday, and there's a game 7 vs the Lakers, good luck finding a good place to watch the game that isnt your room/house/whatever.

Game 3 Tuesday: No problemo. No NBA for sure. I like the idea of ESPN, should be fairly packed with hockey people too.

Game 4 Thursday: I hate the NHL. Beyond stupid sometimes. They set up game 4 SAME NIGHT as the decided Game 1 of NBA Finals. Again, good luck if the Lakers make it to the finals. Im still around, and open to whatever though. Id like a bar with plenty of drinks and food and those waitress thingys that John mentioned.

Game 5 Saturday: Even though Osgood will have blown it by now and game 5 wont be necessary, im good with wherever. Hi Steve, Vertigo.

Zach, I just realized I have only seen you 3 nights in my life.....and all 3 were Penguins playoff games within the last 12months, and on all 3 nights you had on the Pens jersey. Now Im wondering if thats ALL that you ever wear. I have a feeling thats all Im gonna see this trip too!

-first gamble of the trip goes well, keep it at minimum bets on blackjack and crazy4poker and I win like $350 somehow
-head back to the house to watch game 1
-after game 1, head to Hofbräuhaus (which is the coolest place ever) to drink beer
-head to O'Shea's to play beer pong, it's full, so we go to the IP to play beer pong
-drink 800 tiny cups of beer because beer pong is hard
-start playing blackjack at $10 bets
-..... 4 or 5 hours later
-bet sizes increase to ~$200
-.....
-ATM trip #2
-.....
-last $600 run into $2000
-$1000 bet (table max!)
-88 against a 2
-shit
-$2k on the table now, get like a 13 and an 18
-time stands still
-dealer busts without even having to sweat it
-$2k payout = even on the day
-get the **** out of there
-shit can't find my cell phone
-whatever, head to the front door
-wtf it's light out!
-shit, it's 6:30 am and I have to golf at 9:30 and I haven't slept since 7 pm on Friday
-somehow manage to explain to the cabby how to get to our house, which is a miracle in itself
-pass out, 2 seconds later, i get woken up to go golf
-best ball format or scramble or whatever, but we had to use 3 drives from each person for some of our prop bets
-the highlight is on the 16th hole, needing to use 2 drives from this one guy in the last 3 holes, he sticks his 1st on the par 3 off the back of the green, I decide to hit and stick it to 10 feet. Of course, we use his tee shot, so I say whateves, and I just chip in for the birdie
-we finished at -2 which is meh, especially after starting birdie/birdie, but I think we were second in the tourney
-drink 80 beers during golf and after in the pro shop
-head back, watch game 2
-head to Burger Bar for dinner with plans of going to Encore to degen it up all night
-almost pass out 20 times at Burger Bar because of having no sleep in a week, and decide to bail and get a glorious 10 hour sleep
-and here we are

couple of years agon in Vegas me and my wife stumbled upon that place and we LOVED it..I have two of those huge beer steins at home..
