The ending to the episode with Daphne led it in a few possible directions, especially since Sookie was going to die from her scratch. Did she show up the first day Maryann came to visit?

Just found this thread.
My two cents: Sookie is the only character in no danger period, you don't have a show without her

More of the Dallas story line, especially Eric and less of Jason.

Not the best episode, but they're REALLY dragging out the reveal of the Michelle Forbes character. Okay, she makes people like the sexy time. We GET IT ALREADY. Let's keep things moving.
I'm actually reading Book 2 of the Sookie series, so it's interesting to see the plot points that crossover into the episodes.

No comments this week?
I thought seeing Bill being a bigger asshole than normal was kinda interesting, though I can do without him singing at the piano again. Since Bill knew Sookie was in trouble I'm wondering how the other vampire who sent her human with her is acting right now.
I also wonder if the Fellowship knows that it's Jason's sister they locked up in the basement.

True Blood Season 2 synopsis:
Everyone is in a troubled relationship
Most people in Bon Temps are having supernaturally good sex
Everyone has a hidden agenda, except for Bill and Sookie
Most people know more than they are admitting
Godric is in the church basement and the church leader is up to no good
Jason Stackhouse is dumber than a sack of rocks

I'm midway through book 4 of the sookie stackhouse series. They've begun to blend elements of book 3 into this story, which was mostly book 2. Plus a whole bunch of shit they made up, of course.

I think she sucks, but I like the other story lines and seeing how stuff differs. I'm annoyed that she feels the need to re-explain who/what everything is at the beginning of each book, especially when she's pumping out a whole 300 pages every single year.

I haven't read Grisham for years, but was never a fan.
I'm reading Harris after just having reread all the Tom Clancy Ryanverse novels over the six months or so. So ya, pretty much everything pales in comparison to the depth of his storytelling.
I'm taking a break from Sookie to reread The Dixie Association by Donald Hays, which might be my favourite novel.

Chances Sookie ends up dating Eric 100%, they have been building to it for a while.
The bigger dumb spoiler they showed in the preview was Jason got shot by a paintball gun.

A guess of mine...
I'm guessing Detective Andy is also a shifter (or whatever the animal changers are called) since he wasn't affected by Maryann at the gang bang?

Nah, I think he was ok because he shot the gun and messed up the vibe before she had a chance to glamor him, or whatever it is she does.

I don't care what happens anymore. This show is lots of fun to watch, like a really bad soap opera, and some stuff is cool, but the feasting, fighting and ****ing on that Hunter's Souffle was just ridic and Sookie is almost as stupid as her brother.
Eric remains super cool, as I think the actor is a lot of fun, having also seen him in Generation Kill.
Godric is a vamp with a vision and I'm glad to see he's not just a sidebar conversation any more.
How much do you want to bet we see Bill's maker again?

If they follow the books at all, expect to see a lot of her. From my understanding she plays a key role in the 3rd book.
The progression with the Mary Ann story line is dragging on too much now, we get it... she makes people act retarded and fu
ck. When are the vampires going to deal with her?

Some great lines this episode...
Jason - "I reckon I done been to heaven, it's inside your wife."
Sookie: Godrick is your maker isn't he?
Eric: Don't use words you don't understand.
Sookie: You love him don't you?
Eric: Don't use words I don't understand.
