i am going to get a hair cut tomorrow. Its been like 4 months, and my hair is like shaggy from Scooby Doo.

I am excited yet sometimes sad that I see my hair on the ground of the barbershop. Iam glad I still have my hair, while a lot of my friends have started losing theirs .

Thats all for today.

Oh and its a tradition that everytime I cut my hair, i have a subway sandwich right after it. Thinking I will go with the Tuna tomorrow, not sure though. It depends what the wife will cook for dinner tonight.

The shoe thread should've been subtitled

"OP: Trying too hard, but let's run with it and hope for something good."

This one should be subtitled:

"OP: Trying too hard."

You know, I've been trying salami, pepperoni and cheese lately. It's actually quite nice and really hits the spot.

Hmm.. Interesting. I rotate between, cold cut combo, tuna and meatball lately.

I will try this one next. Its sounds very pizza like.

Oh I forgot to add, I always get the fountain drink and get a coke zero..ALWAYS. I know you Americans probably dont see this at all, but there is still a few Subway locations that charge you for a refill..WTF, you are already marking up the product like 20 times, refills should be ALWAYS free IMO.

That's why rail threads are not allowed in OT. We have somewhat higher/lower (as the case may be) standards here.

There is a great place in Chinatown that you should try. It is really cheap, $8 for cut only i think, but I highly suggest the wash and cut which is only $10 or $12 ( I forget ). The best thing about it is they give you a head massage (insert your own joke here) and it is fantastic.

First they wash your hair and massage your head, then cut your hair, then wash it again with more head massaging, then blow dry and style etc...

Also, just downstairs a few doors over there are a few of those cheap Vietnamese sandwhich places (I usually get the assorted spicy). I ususally have one before the haircut, but to follow your tradition you can have one after.

It is on the west side of Spadina, north of Dundas. PM me if you want to go and I will try to find the name and address for you. It was right across from that underground poker place, THE NUTZ, which is now out of business though.

Whats with the sandwiches and haircuts? You need to eat after because you used so much energy sitting in a seat getting your hair cut?

Also, very important: what hairstyle are you going for? Something like this:

Or this?:

The sandwich is needed after cutting your hair...Its essential in replacing the energy you have lost.

Definetely the first pic.

For some reason, I always hope that everybody who posts here is neither ugly nor good looking. I want everyone to be average.

Serge, how'd you guys do playing pucks this year? Did you ever give my "play ugly sides" methodology a shot?

I dont consider myself ugly, but I dont think I am Brad Pitt either.

We are down about $750 from our initial $2000..Those guys are very hard headed and wont listen to your 'system", I on the other hand believe its a good strategy that I like to pursue further...

Next year, if you do it again, give it a shot. Hockey was my lightest sport in terms of effort ant time-investment and I seriously know NOTHING about hockey. I mean, I barely know what an Ovechkin is. And if I'd had your $2000 bankroll, I would have ended the year up about $970. I probably ran incredibly well, but I also think there's a real margin for success there.

Your pals were saying things like "linesmakers don't even know how to set hockey lines," which is around when I just started laughing my ass off and figured my good-hearted advice was just going to go unheeded, but if you want to try it out next year, let me know. I'd be willing to be a Senior Advisor to Rich Tochett.

Well, you could TTC it, or park for free on a side street. I forget the name of it but it is west of spadina, north of dundas. It is a one way going east so it is a little tricky to get to with all the one way streets around there and Kensington Market.

If you do go, try to go during the week and best is in the middle of the day. On the weekend it is packed and you get rushed through there so the head massage is not that long. During the week, in the middle of the day it is just great. Especially if there is something on TV that the girl washing/massaging your head likes. She just keeps watching TV and giving you a great head massage.

Anyways, post the new haircut pic when you get a chance.
