Ok, I'll concede that his part was acceptable.

Why did Turtle hate Brady because he's a Giants fan? They're not rivals, and they beat them in the superbowl. Didn't make any sense. If he was a Jets fan it would have been ok.
I want to get rid of Vince and E, and replace them with Wahlberg and Brady.
Tom Brady is sexy.

You'd just be replacing one acting dynamo with another. It'd be like trading Denise Richards for Heather Graham.

Turtle telling Tom Brady that Giants blue goes with his eyes was fantastic, though.

It really is the dumbest thing ever. Not only did they cast a producer's kid that happens to be a horrible little actor, they're trying to shove him unnecessarily into every episode. The combination of bad writing (partly because the writers aren't funny anymore and partly because the character's presence makes no sense) and bad acting (that poor kid has no business being there) is an awful, awful thing.

This season is pretty disappointing so far.
The E/Sloan/other girl triangle was pointless. E's new job might make his character matter again. I actually liked the Drama v. boss (Eli Stone's brother) angle. Everything about Turtle at UCLA strikes me as "wow, the writers are running low on ideas."
I feel like this season is missing essential ingredients that made the show good in the past.

Bolded - Agreed.
And where the show used to revolve around Vince's career and how Ari handled it, Ari is now stuck resolving domestic disputes and Vince is hardly part of the show anymore other than pretending to hook up with hot chicks.

exactly. the show just up and changed. Ari has had some moments this season (most of them yelling at Lloyd) but his character is wasted trying to fix Gary Cole's life and make up with his wife, etc.
