Finally got all my pics uploaded from the last few shows I went to. Saw Maiden April 2nd at the Bank Atlantic and they sounded awesome. I have seen Maiden at least 8 times but it was the 1st time they have been to South Florida in 15 years. Their 1985 Powerslave tour was my favorite tour and was glad they played several songs from that album. We got lucky to have a date on the Somewhere Back In Time World Tour - 2008/09 and it was due to Nicko McBrain (drummer)living in Boca Raton. They just finished a South American tour and decided to play an extra date in Florida..hell, they are dropping him off before they head back to England, might as well play ! Estimates were around 18,000 people and I took a crowd shot because its rare that the Bank Atlantic gets a sell out, not even for RUSH !
