it's a deep stack .10/.25 table. made a couple of big hands and have almost doubled up. my image may be pretty loose as the couple big hands I hit were raising 99 pf, getting about 5 callers, c/c a small bet on dry A high board, then spiking a 9 on the turn and stacking a guy with AQ when an A came on the river. He didn't see that hand, though, as he took the seat of the guy i stacked after he left. a few hands later i defended my BB to a button minraise with 93s and hit trips while he hit TP and took a decent pot.

anyway, unless he has AA i'm about 50/50 and I have some fold equity against AK and AQs. I don't have a good read so I don't know what his 3bet range is, but for most of these players its like AK and JJ+. i know preflop is debatable (and maybe wrong) but im not stacking off with 1 pair (ive learned icon_dance.gif ) and with a good flop I can probably take his stack. now i think about it I have to hit 2 pair or better and most times im drawing, so maybe I don't get paid off big enough to call preflop.

I probably need a read from villain that he's spewy/hates folding/etc before I make a habit of calling the big 3-bet preflop.

That being said, especially with villains overbet, you're in good shape here, folding out 88/AQ/AK and getting almost even money against all likely overpairs.

trystero
easy fold pf especially FR

OTF hand plays itself

Preflop is spew for sure, you aren't deep enough to be calling his 3bets profitably with ATs imo.

Once you get to the flop, playing aggressively is the best way to go.

If I start playing online again, I'm sitting out when shorties play. It just ****s up the game.

I'm folding to the 3-bet preflop unless there is a lot of recent history with this guy 3-betting me, or he has retarded stats, or some other factor leading me to believe he is 3-betting light.

as played, yeah, get it in on the flop, but I probably just shove to his $5 bet rather than make it $15.
