Villan looked very aggro, had open raised 6 of the 10 hands he has played and i hadnt seen him check much

Has villain folded to any aggression or has he been 3 barrelling the whole time?

I might put a raise in someone....considering your stack maybe on the flop. Kicking it up to 1.50 or so maybe find out how serious he is. Probably call a shove if considering his looseness.

I find myself in this situation occasionally and end up calling the river to find out I am up against A2, A3 or 86 or something stupid like that.

Pretty standard call. Fwiw I will 3-bet quite a bit in this situation pre-flop. AJ is way ahead of most peoples range from the cut-off
Dictius
It's +ev (just) to call if he is betting the river with any Ace or set fwiw.

Board: 4c 7c 2s Ah 5d

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 63.542% 60.42% 03.13% 58 3.00 { AA, 77, 44, 22, A2s+, A2o+ }
Hand 1: 36.458% 33.33% 03.13% 32 3.00 { AdJd }

If his range is any stronger than this fold, if it is any weaker call.

I think call and fold are closer than I initially thought but lean towards call since he sounds a bit agro and could bet missed flush draws on the river.

I threebet this basically always preflop OTB.

I hate calling the end because I feel like were almost always beat imo. 10 hands isn't really much either lol.
