Is it being named after Chicago's native son, the great Wesley Willis?
phlegm
not willis reed is it??
myenemy
I work for a big insurance company and Willis is one of our largest producing agents. Who says Im wasting time at work on FCP?
Gallo
Everything has a price, I guess. Kinda dumb tbh. It should be considered a national landmark and the name should never change.
Gallo
It can be known as Big Willy.

Listen, you and the rest of you can just nip this other " is it X Willis or Willis X" shit off right now, because there's no one you can find that is funnier, more awesome, with actual chicago ties, than Wesley Willis. All other Willis Entries are going to be redundant........

To prove my point, I present Mr Willis's immortal

Jesus christ, It's not like this is the Golden Gate bridge or something.. IT was named for a corporation to begin with.. it's name had a price, from the very beginning.

LOL @ caring about having one corporation's name on a building instead of another's

Would you be ok with Wrigley Field being renamed?

Yeah, I know, the field was named for the guy not the company, but I think the question is still valid.

Oh, you don't think it is? Well screw you pal!

Actually, I am curious how you would feel.

Wrigley field is maybe the one thing that I actually would care about getting renamed, just because it specifically is a throwback stadium, completely bereft of commercial interests. The more and more commercial and modern it gets ,the sadder I get. As you said, it really wasn't named after a company, the Company and the field were named after a man. I mean ,I wouldn't care THAT much if they renamed it McDonald's field or something, as long as they didn't put gangantic golden arches over the bleachers or tore down the ivy or something.

But I mean, if you renamed Soilder field Jiggabo Jones Field, I'd be all for it, if it meant the bears actually used the money to sign a meaningful free agent.

This is terrible, terrible news for America. One of the last bastions of strength and significance in your country is being renamed, I think you should all hang your heads in shame.

I give you 5 years before you sell your entire country to the Japanese, oh you make me sick.
