Yeah I do. Angels are 12-13 since he came back.
Only 13 rbi's
7 homeruns are good as is his average, but for some reason I think the team defers to him and it's not working.

Wow, Saunders pitched a good game after a shaky start.
I'm starting to like the Angels' chances to go to the WS.
Lackey at the top can always pitch a dominant game, Weaver's a coinflip and Santana has shown the ability to pitch to a win lately (6-2 in his last 8 decisions). Kazmir is a wildcard.
I still think that it is the Yankees year. I see the Angels beating Boston in the first round, but losing to NY in the ALCS.
If the Halos don't make it, I would like to see an old fashioned NY-LAD WS.
Though obviously I would prefer the Angels sweeping the Dodgers in the WS.

Sorry for the ribbing, but I've been a fan of Vlad over his entire career. It's amazing how he hits pitches that no other human can hit.

Must win tonight IMO.
Vladdy is ABSOLUTELY worthless.
Thankfully if we make it to the series he'll have to sit out the away games.

4 days off is too much. 2 would be good as it would easily set up the rotation again.
Hopefully Scioscia will split the lefties, that had me worried with 2 lefties goin' in Femway.
I picked the Yankees at the beginning of the season (also that the Angels would finally overcome the Redsox but lose to the Yankees in the ALCS), hope I'm wrong about the Yanks.
IMO it will be a great WS from the AL side, but a dud if the Phils or Rockies make it.

Positives from game 1:
Horrible defense, lackluster offense, mediocre pitching and the best the Yanks can do is 4 to 1.
I think Guerrerro is spanish for grounds out weakly to short.

Every half inning you have to mention how great the Yankees are at comebacks and walk off wins.
Hello...there are 2 teams playing.

I don't remember the last time I've seen that called. At least it didn't come back to haunt them. Every announcer seems to blow the yankees and believe me I can't stand it either.

2 bad managerial moves by Scioscia. Taking Weaver and Lackey out of the game.
Lackey should have been left in for 1 more hitter, and Weaver should have pitched the ninth.
I think I aged 5 years in the ninth inning.

The top of the 7th must have been heart-wrenching as well. Helluva win, gl in NY.
Also, I thought that pulling Weaver was a very very odd decision. I mean yes, I understand that their goal cannot be just to win tonight but also to win the WS, and that it's a bad thing to destroy your closer's confidence, but Weaver dominated the 8th.

Absolutely.
I also would've let Mathis hit away instead of trying to bunt.

In the playoffs and especially in an elimination game, you have to play to win tonight. Don't worry about tomorrow, win tonight. Torre always managed that way and I think it's the right way.

Aybar
Figgins
Hunter
Guerrero
Abreu
Morales
Rivera
Kendrick
Mathis
This is what I'd like to see.
Though it looks like Scioscia (who rarely had the same lineup going for 2 or 3 games in a row during the regular season) is going with the same lineup he's had with Figgins and Abreu at the top. I see it as more likely for Abreu to breakout of his slump than Figgins.

Not some of Scioscia's finest moment of managing this series.
Defense, lack of timely hitting and managerial missteps killed us this series.
Though it was an entertaining series all in all.
Good luck to the Yankees, beat the Phuckin' Phils (though I won't be watching).

Even though it didn't matter since Abreu singled in Mathis anyway, I think I would have put the bunt on for Aybar to move Mathis across, even though it was early. Moot point I suppose, just was a thought I had during the game. I agree Scioscia wasn't very good managerial, he seems to have a track history of missteps in the postseason.
Anyway, good run this year and good battle.

Figgins gone, Lackey wants 100 mil for 6 years, talk of Guerrero resigning.
Figgins 36 mil/4 years LOL. GG Seattle
Lackey, def not worth 100 mil/6 years, more like 40-50 mil/4years
Guererro, sheesh, no, just no.
Wood at 3rd base, gonna get his chance
They prob go with what they got at pitching, then make a move in the summer if necessary
Jason Bay....why? His stats would be comparable to Rivera if he was in Anaheim. Only if they trade Rivera in a package for Hellagay.
I read that the Mets also interested in Lackey, fine, just not Texas, Bos, or NYY.
