I don't normally give you guys ammo... especially since I'm sure this guy is probably saved... but I think you might get a kick out of some stuff on his blog.

In "Christian" cirlces... this guy would be considered a right wing nut job. I can only imagine what you guys will think.

Please note: The main reason that I think this is so funny... is because this guy isn't obviously a wacko. He's not dancing naked in the streets or painting gay dudes on a poster and shouting God HATES America! He just happens to think Chiropractors are members of the occult. Also, don't watch any of his videos.

I have had lower back problems for 20 years. It all started when I was in a bad car accident. Since then, it does not take much for me to mess up my back (in fact, just 2 years ago I finally had surgery which has been great.)

Anyway, about 4 years ago I was running through the house getting ready for work. I have those stupid faux marble tiles, you know the ones that they make with grind up marble so it looks kind of like marble, is cool like marble, is slippery like marble but it is not marble.

Well I must have gotten some water on the floor in the hallway coming out of the shower and going into my bedroom. While racing out of my bedroom, I did one of those weird slips where you don't fall down because you catch yourself but your body was all contorted and you still pull every muscle and twist everything in the wrong way.

So it had been 10+ years since I had gone to a chiropractor and I live 20 miles from the one I had seen previously. I go online and look for the closet one. I go in and there was this weird vibe going on, completely different set up and stuff from my last chiropractic experience. I start filling out their forms and there is all of this weird mumbo-jumbo about that it only works if I succumb to the orders of the chiropractor, etc. There is this large display of vitamins and they are GOD vitamins, I kid you not. There are posters all over of the spine with propaganda of how everyone needs chiropractory. I start asking questions to the ladies behind the desk who have this weird plastic smile and glazed eyes and they kept saying things like "this is a family" and on and on. I gave them back all of the literature they gave me on subligation and told them this place reminded me of a cult and I booked out of there.

I went home and went on the internet and I found out there are two types of chiropractors. There are the normal ones who I feel do a pretty good job and then their are the "Straight Chiropractors" who are just whacked and have cult-like wackado practices.

So brvheart... I am sure the rightwing guy you quoted is somewhat of a nut job too but if his experience was with a straight chiropractor than I would agree with him that they act as a cult. And this is from left to the middle kind of gal. smile.gif

I am skimming through this guy's site and I am amazed on how many Christians he deems are not Christian...

No surprise that Catholics tops his list but he also list Mormons, Seventh Day Adventist and Southern Baptist! He is Anti Billy Graham and Rob Bell.

And the only kind word he has for U2 is to Adam Clayton. Quote: "U2 member Adam Clayton does not make any type of Christian profession. In my opinion, he is the most honest of the four band members. At least he does not pretend to have faith in the Bible while living a rock & roll lifestyle. "

He also warns against Christian Bookstores and Christian Radio.

I guess it is this guys way or the highway.

Yeah, that's pretty tough. I'm a U2 fan, and while I think an argument could be made for Bono being pretentious in matters of politics, the band is, imo, pretty humble about religious issues.
