OH MY GOD, Roberto Alomar once bled on my baseball glove when I was a kid. I'm not kidding. That was probably about 17 years ago, even if he has "full blown AIDS" there's little to no chance he had HIV then right?
Edit: It must have been 1990, his last year with the Padres.
You totally, definitely can't get AIDS through a baseball glove. Also if you'd had HIV for 17 years untreated you would be totally dead like 10-15 years ago, so you're probably good.

who knows man, magic johnson's been HIV positive since '91 or '92 so you can definitely have the virus for quite a long time without it going to full blown aids.
Magic Johnson isn't 'lucky,' except that he caught it early, probably very early because he was a pro athlete and therefore closely monitored by doctors.
