What does everyone think is the best to go with for spyware and antivirus? Also may be getting a mac in the near future, so need something mac compatible as well as vista.

nod32 is the only anti-virus program you should have.

I think just regular old Norton Antivirus is really great.

Silky: You don't need antivirus protection for your mac. There are no significant viruses out there that target the mac. Whatever it comes with is fine. I've been working with macs for nearly 20 years and have never even heard of a mac getting a virus.

I would just use AGV free edition, never had any problems with it personally

If you have a 32-bit machine, go with this:
http://usa.kaspersky.com/products_services/anti-virus.phpOtherwise, this one is the most accurate and least intrusive:

For free ones, I used to use AVG (Which I still have on here...)
But I also now have Avast, which I like.

I third this. Best anti-virus protection is Mac OS X.

http://www.eset.com/this is, like, bingo, if you're running windows on your mac.
for os x, you need nothing, as others have said.
