So I just got back from the grocery store as I needed some milk & bread. I didn't eat breakfast this morning so on my way back I thought meh I'll stop and get mcdonalds, haven't had it in forever and I only eat their breakfasts if I go.

I pull up and order and she said sorry breakfast is over now. I looked and it was 10:31AM?? I said you always serve till 11AM. She said no breakfast now ends at 10:30. I said it's 10:31 you can't serve me? She said no. So instead I went directly across the street to tim hortons cause I wasn't eating a burger at 10:30 in the morning.

Maybe this was a weekday thing, but I've never came across that before. I've always known it as 11AM is breakfast time. Does anyone actually eat a big mac at 10:30AM?

Anyway to the poll... who's mcdonalds ends at 10:30 and who's ends at 11?

Ok.. so it's 10:30 Mon-Fri and 11 on weekends. I don't know anyone eating a quarter pounder with cheese, fries & coke at 10:30 in the morning but whatever. I found out why and it's because lunch meals cost more than breakfast, since it's also the slowest time of the day they'd prefer to make an extra buck where they can which I guess makes sense for the business.

This would be interesting. I love some of the breakfast stuff that is served in the US. We have no biscuits period in Canada (or at least Winnipeg). The best breakfast sandwich ever is the Steak bagel or whatever it's called. That thing is awesome, but yet they don't serve it here. This makes me sad.

I used to love those steak bagels until I got a bad one once like 4 years ago. It's never been the same since, every bite is apprehension.

I miss Bojangles, a fast food place in the South. They had a great breakfast menu and served it all day long.

I eat there everytime I make a trip to NC for work.

I'm of the camp that would order a burger at 9 oclock in the morning. I don't like most fast food breakfasts (well, I really don't like fast food at all, but that's beside the point), so if I have to eat there, I'd rather have a lunch. besides, pizza is one of my favorite breakfast foods.

Breakfast food kinda sucks. Especially fast food breakfast. I'd order at Burger at 9 am if they served it.

When I worked at Burger King in high school and got stuck working the morning shift, the best time of day was when we transitioned into lunch. The smell of freshly broiled burgers for the first time that day was incredible.

I had a conversation with a guy at work a few weeks ago about how the 40ish lady cashier at McD's when he went to lunch was an idiot. He said how he would expect that from a HS kid, but not her. I tried to explain to him how she's 40ish and working at McDs, so probably more likely to be an idiot than someone in HS that only has min wage jobs as an option. He just didn't understand me and I hate him anyway so I'm not sure why I was talking to him.

Is it just me, or did Tim Hortons do something to their coffee ~4 years ago? It used to be the best coffee around, the I moved out to BC and found the coffee tasted burnt and bitter. I assumed that it was BC Tim Hortons which had shitty coffee, but I have visited numerous Timmies since then (in Manitoba, Alberta, and Ontario) and the coffee has that same burnt, bitter taste in all of them now...

I'm sure it will, if you consider getting a quadruple bypass changing your life.

there's an overnight guy at my restaurant that's mid-40s and claims to have slept with over 200 women. everyone hates him, including the customers. he says he likes working overnight at the drive thru window so he can hit on girls. college and high school aged girls.

When I go to the States I love the Cracker Barrel for breakfast just awesome, nothing like there biscuits and gravy. Since this new diet I am on 1 Protein shake and a grapefruit oh weeeee. Miss my breakfast

I'm just not big into breakfast. if I was, I'd like it a lot. it does have a good menu and the store is kinda fun to look at.

So I think it's safe to say that roughly 60-70% of Americans can tell you that McDonald's stops serving breakfast at 10:30.

Just go to Jack in the Box. They serve breakfast all day long. And when I used to eat fast food a lot, that was my favorite because you could breakfast at 7:45 PM. I would get the #16 with a coke and extra ranch. Oh to be 22 again with a fast metabolism. Now if I ate that it would be instant heart attack and a gain of 50 pounds ... instantly.

In my almost 30 years on this planet it has always been 10:30 AM.

Mcdonalds is delicious, but it's so bad for you. I haven't had it in over three months.
