You must be kidding...

Waffle Houses are the most disgustingly dirtiest places on earth.

But Kid Rock eats there....

Generic/local diners are like the best places to get breakfast, IMO.

Is it just me, or did Tim Hortons do something to their coffee ~4 years ago? It used to be the best coffee around, the I moved out to BC and found the coffee tasted burnt and bitter. I assumed that it was BC Tim Hortons which had shitty coffee, but I have visited numerous Timmies since then (in Manitoba, Alberta, and Ontario) and the coffee has that same burnt, bitter taste in all of them now...

i think you're just lucky enough to be getting the bottom of the pot everytime you get coffee. I don't recall it changing here, and i'm a 3 a day timmies person. Either that or you just have a preconceived notion in your head about it and you subconciously think it's bad. Or maybe you've been to ones that have changed, but like i said, my coffee is always perfect.

I just call a shift manager over and they take care of the GTFOing for me. any time it becomes an argument where it's my word vs. the customer's, I seriously don't doubt I'd be swiftly reprimanded/fired. if the job wasn't 50 steps from my door, I totally would not be working there.

that's the best thing to do, although.....i can't imagine that your manager would not be wearing a headset of their own and knowing what was going on. I always have one on. I seriously think that if you can get into a supervisory role at McD's it would be in your best interest to do it. I know that the first few steps into management aren't the greatest (pay and shifts), but the possibilities are endless. I know that they have an incredible salary/bonus package for their agms and gms if you could go that far. At least in Canada, i would think that it's similar in the states.

The Wendy's I went to today stops serving breakfast at 10:00 AM.

I was not happy to find this out at 10:10 AM.

I was so hungry this morning that I stopped and got breakfast from McD's. I can't even remember the last time I got any fast food breakfast. It was sooooooooo good. It will be hard not to do it again tomorrow.

Had a Sausage McGriddle and 2 hash browns.

You call me that like it's a bad thing.

Their breakfast is damn good. The coffee cake muffin warmed up makes my panties wet.

This would be interesting. I love some of the breakfast stuff that is served in the US. We have no biscuits period in Canada (or at least Winnipeg). The best breakfast sandwich ever is the Steak bagel or whatever it's called. That thing is awesome, but yet they don't serve it here. This makes me sad.

Learn what bacon is, please.

People are so rude. Geez. Do you have to serve them if they curse you?

Bob Evans is the best place for biscuits and gravy. Not that I eat that more than once a year, but if you're going to eat it, Bob Evans is the place to do so.

The last time I ate breakfast at McDonald's was this summer in Vegas at Sam's Town with my grandma and my kids because the kids wanted it. I ate a fruit and yogurt parfait. The time before that, I was with Norm, Renae, Ozzy, and Danielle and I had the pancakes. I try hard not to eat breakfast at McDonald's because if I'm going to gorge down an enormous amount of calories, I'm going to eat something good. What I'm saying is, I don't know when they stop serving breakfast, for sure.

Bob Evans sausage gravy is the bomb diggity. There is no comparison.

No offence, but is McDonalds seen a “nice” place to eat in the States, its just over here in the UK its seen as an absolute dive, I would not eat there if it was the last place on earth, or any other fast food chain to be fair, its just I’m surprised to see good comments written about McDonalds

we in america invented mcdonalds. and we love it. and hate it. but mostly we love it.

It used to be a little trashy but most of the restaurants around me have remodeled their buildings. Many of them seem sort of like a lodge with nice wood chairs, a gas fireplace, and flat panel tvs.

in HK breakfast ends at 10:30 too but you can still get an egg mcmuffin 24/7

Wendy's serves breakfast? w/e.....

as previously stated though it seems that it would be a bigger bad beat if you showed up at 9:50am. I wouldnt wanna have to wait 10 minutes for my spicy chicken sandwich.

For realz though. Wendy's business would not go down any if they removed everything from the menu but Spicy Chicken sandwiches, Nuggets, Fries and drinks. Seriously

It's comfort food. Sure it's gross, but it's still something we crave once in a while (or daily). I'm sure you have food like that across the pond. And no, McDonalds has never been described as a "nice" place to eat.

Also...you think you're better than me?

Yes, it is the same in the US...once you get to a salaried manager or higher, the benefits are as good as you can get anywhere and a lot of times make up for the little bit less you make than if you worked at another food establishment. And once you get higher than a restaurant manager, you are making a lot more money with the same benefits, a company car (you only pay for gas when not going to and from work), and longer vacation. At least speaking about the corporate stores...owner operator stores may be different and it seems you can not get promoted past restaurant manager a lot of times.
