You knucklehead... you really picked BYU?
They were the most over rated team in NCAA this year.
(and I hate mormons.... so I was for Arizona)

I think Florida v. Sooners is a pick em. Should be a great game....Texas has the right to feel robbed but you lose a game you lose control.
My prediction (that I make with great confidence) is that it will be a miserable BCS experience for the Big Ten. (aka "the usual")
I like Penn State and Ohio State to both lose by 20+ points.

I like PSU over USC. Texas might come out and play the best game ever or lay an egg with being letdown from the whole missing out on the Big-12 title game and shot at the national title. I wouldn't want to have money on that game.

What would make you like PSU over the Trojans? USC has boatloads more talent AND is playing essentially a home game.

I bet Alabama comes out flat and gets blown out. I get the feeling they won't really be up for this game like they were against Florida.

A few things...
The defenses are actually fairly similar, but PSU played a much harder schedule while I think USC's offense was much more inconsistant. Records vs similar opponents also favors PSU.
vs Oregon State
PSU
W 45-14
USC
L 27-21
vs Ohio State
PSU
W 13-6
USC
W 35-3 (no Wells or full time Pryor)
Then there is the whole USC not wanting to even play the rose bowl, they wanted OS to win the Pac-10 so they could go to a different bowl. I don't think they are going to be that motivated to play because they have a superiority complex.

Weren't you the one making the argument that there is a difference between conference games and non-conference games? I happen to agree with that argument, but that makes the above meaningless.

My first college bet soon, lol. I just started betting on Christmas. I have a thread in the general sports forum if you want to look at it.
Anyways, the only game right now I think I'll be betting on tommorow is the Champs Bowl. There seems to be a lot of the majority favouring FSU, and the line has been pretty steady. Therefore, I think I'm going to bet Wisconsin. Going to wait till tommorow to see where the line moves.

PSU was never in that game. The Big 10 had a nice run in the first part of the decade. It is a sucky conference at the moment. Time to just face that. You're the new ACC.
In time, the Big 10 will be really good again. It happens.

Big Ten isn't good, but it isn't that awful either. It's still a better conference than the Big East and ACC, in my opinion. ACC might be better at the mid/bottom than the Big Ten, but both conference champs, Cincinatti and VA Tech, would get absolutely rolled by any of the three best teams in the Big Ten(OSU, PSU, Iowa).

Doubt it, but that's the beauty of not having a playoff we never get to find out. As for all the SEC vs. Big 10 talk, I usually would say SEC > Big 10. 2009 is a different story though, the seem pretty much mirror images of one another as someone previously stated.

That's not true. USC really only dominated the second quarter. It was 7-7 at the end of the Q1 and PSU was moving the ball just fine and playing pretty good defense. They fell apart in the second quarter and USC jumps on you when that happens.

That 3 point win just sealed off the deal that Texas has no shot at even a split national title. Texas needed to win by 40+ and have Colt throw for 5 TD's to even have a shot at splitting anything. Now they might finish in the polls 4th at best. I expect them to get leapfrogged by USC and Utah.
Final poll will go something like this...
1. Oklahoma/Florida Winner
2. USC
3. Utah
4. Texas
5. Oklahoma/Florida Loser

That will make two of us, having to wait this long for the game has been brutal. But, on the other hand it's helped Harvin get healthy.

Oklahoma has an interesting history in the Orange Bowl. I was there in 2000 when they beat FSU.....I just sold 4 tickets for the game this time around. Dolphins/Ravens was enough.
I think UF's defense needs to hold OU under 35 to win the game.....not an easy task with OU's wealth of talent. I have flip-flopped on this game so many times that I decided to just not bet on it. I am going to say that Stoops and Co. get it done in a high-scoring but close contest.
OU 38---UF 34.
