I just started playing six max plo and the first thing i have learned is to play in position as much as possible. Myquestion comes what should my cut off be for playing hands oop and am i looking for more players or less players in the pot if I am going to play a pot. My thought is if I am playing multiple way pots and I gin a flop oop I have more of a chance of getting paid. But if I am playing pots heads up and oop I dont neccesarily have to gin a flop to continue.

you do not want to play HU pots out of position.

While playing OOP , make sure that you are drawing to the nuts. PLay hands pf which are capable of drawing to nuts.

When I do play hands OOP, I'm almost always looking for the big c/r if I hit hard. I'll do this with top set (usually, unless the board is very very drawy) and with 2 draws that I perceive will best my opponents' holdings if I make them. I only lead OOP if 1. I've flopped top set or a set on a board that I think my opponent will have trouble getting AA/KK away from (say 2 4 7 off) or 2. if I played a hand like 8765 and have hit hard, hoping the villain will chase the nut flush draw or again have trouble folding overpairs.
