On April 29 we will be having 0.31 cents scoop night from 5pm-10pm we will be raising money for the Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Ottawa. Come get a triple scoop for only .93 cents at any Baskin Robbins.

That should kick off my summer season let the caluses begin.

its a pretty crazy day people have nightmares over it but me and my bros have a laugh. I think we should scoop about 3000 ice creams that day. We have been chosen as the media store so we will have the fire chief here as well as a fire truck firefighters and media. You may see me on tv yelling at someone to hurry up ( Ive been dubbed the ice cream nazi more than once here). I have been given orders from my older bro to be clean shaven and presentable that day so I won't look like a slug.

The losses are not huge for the amount of advertising we get. This gives everyone within a 10 mile radius a chance to know where your located, overall you lose the days sales + a few cents from each cone sold as .31 is below cost.

Its a wonderfull experience actually and its amazing how many people look forward to that day and mark it on their calendars. Were very close to a low income area so alot of people will bring the family out for something they normally can't afford.

I sometimes wonder why the hell I do what I do for a living than I remember Oct-March. It was freaking insane 5 hours of just scooping. I should really have some Popeyesque forearms by now. I think we served about 2500 scoops in the 5 hours and most people only waited 20 minutes to get served.

It was 3 scoops per person so everyone was filling up, its ridiculous how anyone can complain when getting a scoop for 31 cents yet a few all females did just that. One fool and his gf late 20's line up for 30 minutes get the ice cream than say they have no money. R U FCKING KIDDING ME 98 freaking cents between the 2 of you.
