Today I will be sharing with all of you the greatest secret in the world.

A few years ago when Bell Canada decided to move their calling center to India, it pissed me off to a great extent. Many Canadians lost their jobs so this multi million dollar company can save more money, yet not pass on the savings to the consumer. So I changed my home phone to Primus my internet to Rogers and my TV to Rogers. I will support Rogers as long as they keep jobs in Canada.

At work were stuck with Bell and I cringe every time I have to call them for something, as speaking to a rep whos opening line is "please tell me if you can't understand me" is extremely frustrating.

So here's the secret if you call the Quebec 1-800 number than select English you get a Canadian that speaks fluent English. The Quebec customer service line is still based in Canada not India, so if you ever have problems with Bell call the Quebec line.

For any of you who have never dealt with India just call Bells 1800 number and ask some simple questions you will understand my frustration.

That is my biggest beef with Bell. I am a minority and I can't understand a word when I have to call in. It seriously drives me crazy.

Also thanks for the tip.

So you know what Iam talking about. The average person will say whats the big deal, the reason I think what makes it worse is Iam already frustrated due to the interuption in my business because debit is down and Iam losing customers, than I have to deal with a guy thats reading out of a handbook that doesn't even know wtf he's saying.

The local yellow pages call me daily here at work and I now just hang up. But it is always an Indian man or woman and they always have a nice name like Jennifer or Mike.

First 2 took me back to those dances during our teens. I've heard them like a million times.
My wife loves that freestyle crap....instant migraines for me.

3rd one is classic. Journey was cheesy, but I always liked it.

I think the 2 places that loved the gino beats was Jersey area and Toronto. Iam sure in the 80's and 90's there had to be at least one Mustang or Z28 in front of every high school in Toronto pumping Stevie B or Little Suzy.

Any of you guys heading to Vegas soon, the Venetian deep stack tourney will be starting end of January great tourneys to play in. Iam thinking Feb 11-19 my gf will love the fact that Iam going to Vegas for V-day.

Being a pure degenerate I have alot of ups and downs throughout the year. May and june were amazing just to see me lose it all in July and by mid August I was in the red. September was a quiet month than Oct came.

Well it all started Sept 29

I hadn't played poker in over 6 months and decided to fire up the Full Tilt account first tourney I played was the 50 1r 1add-on and scored 4th place in that for about $2949. Less than a week later I played the $70 afternoon tourney and finished 2nd out of 388 people for $3414. Thinking Iam great I start playing the bigger tourney where 3 tourneys in a row my pocket kk lose to pocket jacks all in preflop all three times they hit a jack. Iam not a fan of variance so I ban myself from poker for a month till November 12. Take out a profit of about $5600.

So since poker is done I decide to get my fill at the casino, I hit the casino where Iam playing let it ride with the 3 card poker. About ten hands in I hit trip deuces for $3000 on my $100 bet. If she flips over a deuce I get an extra $9500 but it didn't happen, Iam happy with the hit and decide to leave.

Which bring me to last Wed Oct 20. Iam bored in the afternoon since everyone else is working I decide to hit the bingo hall for some afternoon BINGO. For those that don't play there is a game called the players progressive that builds to $10,000 until someone hits it.

So I need to get a full card in 52 numbers after the 49th number is called I need G46 for 10 grand. 50th number is a green ball I have a chance but it G55, 51st ball is green as well he flips over G50 right there I yell fukkkkkkkkkkkkkkk and slam my hand on the table where the whole hall stares at me. Than it happened the 52nd ball out is freaking green as well and this time its G46. Hitting 10 grand at bingo brought me more joy than both tourneys combined even better than when I hit a Royal Flush in Carribean years ago.

My final thing that I have going is just before the MLB season ended I put money on the Giants to win the world series at 13-1 everyone laughed at me but now Iam 4 games away from winning a good chunk of change.

If the Giants lose I will say it was a jinx to post this and I will retire this thread.

my gf got me into it, I go to this hall where I get the remote and watch whatever I want. Its a win win situation I sit there and gamble in game on my i-phone watching the game and Iam doing my boy friend duties spending quality time with my gf.

I lead a very simple life scoop ice cream and gamble. Eventually reality may strike one day but in the mean time I just let it ride.

In the winter months how busy are you at the store? Do you guys spend the time betting on sports..I know you work like a dog in the summer, hope you get to have some time to relax and enjoy the beatiful hockey that is being played at the ACC..

I for one, love ice cream in the winter...I have cold veins...That like to be fed..

The winter months can get very dangerous for me because Iam here for 12 hours with very little interuption customer wise.

My gambling gets out of hand as boredom strikes and my impulsive gambling kicks in. I quickly go to the inplay screen and bet on Al-jazeer vs AL-Khanan soccer match. A match I know nothing about yet because of my weakness I will bet on total corners over or method of next goal, just to have action.

My problem becomes a real problem because I can no longer bet 50 just to have action it keeps getting bigger. When I win great when I lose the chasing gets ridiculous.

There are rumours of Muhammad El Sayif of Al-Khanan is playing with a bum ankle. And that the locker room is split in 2 factions after Aaban slept with Zahharia's wife, or at least, looked at her longingly at the Eid-Al Fitr party. Id totally go with Al-Jazeer, Al-Khanan has played like shit for weeks.

Sorry, was that trolling, should it go in another thread where all bad things go?

Here's a feel good story

On saturday afternoon I am working alone at the shop I have 3 customers waiting plus some asian guy with a shaved head and huge scar asking me for a pen and paper.

I am writing on a cake turn to the guy and say give me a minute. Finish serving the cake customer and hand the guy a piece of paper when he replies "its okay I just want to talk to you" Rolling my eyes I say great wtf is this all about. Finish serving the other two and turn to the guy and say whats up? His reply made my day.

He told me that he use to come to the store with his mom all the time when he was suffering from brain cancer hence the scar. He told me that I always put him in a great mood and that I always made him smile, and gave him great positive energy.

He than told me that he had completely beaten the cancer and that one of the things he wanted to do was come by and tell me how much he appreciated my energy. I was floored by this a went to shake his hand. I should have given him a hug. We talked for a bit more than he left.

I am posting this story to tell you guys to always stay positive and happy. Positive energy passes on to others, so you never know who you're helping. This guy coming by and telling me his story will keep me this way for life.

I always wanted to be a grumpy old man but I think I will stay this way.
