thats just a hideous board for KK, i probably have to fold on the river cuz what can you beat, someone has to have at least a Q if not a straight, not much you can do there

I agree that the board's horrible, but you absolutely have to call the river here. You're getting 27-1, and you can't can't can't lay this down when the pot's this big.

Nh sir, even if it might be 3rd best :-/
Gotta make the river call though.

FIrst, as I'm from Tuscaloosa, I have to say you should get the hell out of Auburn. smile.gif Second, it's pretty obvious that UTG+1 had a Q, he called every single bet until the turn when it hit then he woke up and started betting. But the pot is huge, 2 crying calls on the turn and river aren't horrible, but you're giving money away when it's obvious you're beat.
KDawgCometh
the pot is just wayyy too big to fold on either the turn or river. happens
RISEorFall
Yeah, it's huge. It's also extremely obvious you're beat. With as big as the pot is I'd have to call the turn to see if I could improve, and then having called the turn halfheartedly call the river. Aside from the board being scary, dude doesn't start betting at all in the hand til the 2nd Q hits.

I basically agree with this, but as mentioned, with whatever insane odds he was getting on his calls, I also agree with the general sentiment that the pot's too big to fold. If UTG+1 is representing the queen rather than actually having it once out of many times (Though he's probably not ballsy enough to try the move twice), you're coming out ahead here.
RISEorFall
Oh I know, I'm not disagreeing with calling because the pot is so big. PLus you still have outs going to the river...not many, but some. I just don't see this guy almost ever not having the Q here, with this many people in the hand and this much action, it'd be completely retarded to bluff into this pot. He could have 2nd pair and the second Q coming think he has the best hand....I don't know I've seen it before.
Dirtydutch
It's really big, but if you know the guy you can maybe get away.
It's pretty sure he has a set of Queens.
CobaltBlue
Alright...good to know that my thinking wasn't completely out of whack.

I figured I was getting odds to hit my two-outer on the turn. With the other two folders between me and the bettor on the river...I felt like I had to call.

UTG+1 took it down with QJ offsuit. UTG had JT offsuit.
rwood
just reiterating, you have to call with the odds you are getting laid....imo...
