Was a stop and go good, or should i have 3-bet, or gone for a check/raise on the turn?

just go ahead and threebet the flop

Can I ask why you didn't 3 bet the flop, but led at the turn?

Looks a little like a free-card play to me, so make him pay for it. You're a head 9 times out of 10 here.

if you know you are gonna lead the turn you have to get that extra half bet in, and this is not a stop and go, that is a tactic for nl holdem tournies

You usually stop and go when you have a decently weak hand, and you represent that you just hit your kicker. It doesnt work when a 4 hits the board. You gave away half a bet, because he was in check/call mode. If you wanted to just call the raise on the flop, then at least c/r the turn. Let me reiterate though, the correct play is to 3 bet.
