It means your paying juice your not suppose to be paying. If your betting $100 a game your looking at almost $65 total. As for the opposite of line movement could work either way.

Leafs finally don't go over... I'm kinda happy though, an over might have meant a Bruins loss since the 3rd period was all Toronto.

When I don't need it they always score the Empty Net goal. If I need it never comes through.

Was fun while it lasted though, I ended up with $2300 from a $60 initial, and I was playing pretty conservatively. I never got to betting more than 2u. The guy who showed me was betting 5u-10u by the end of the season.

I've been too lazy to post my bets, but I had a really good day yesterday, even after losing my biggest bet (Pitt/Atl over). This is a surefire jinx on myself, but from my 1k deposit I was up to 3240 last night with 200 in future bets in play. I'm having a lot of fun watching hockey every night, and making tons of bets. I have no intentions of cashing any out... it's 10k or bust!

It's based on the "player matchups" that they offer. What you do basically is "box" the teams and players in combination.
How the ticket "wins" is if the player on the winning team ALSO beats the player he's matched up against.
Because you have it boxed, it doesn't matter WHICH team wins, as long as the player ON that team beats the guy on
the team that loses (for example, last night I had leafs+sundin+capitals+ovechkin - sundin beat staal, leafs won, caps won, ovechkin beat kovalchuk) Does that make sense?

I'm sure you could still play it, just not with the odds they were once offering. I remember a few nights hitting the late game with the Kings and their player both at >3.0 odds. I don't think anyone on the forum played it (Bob locked my thread when I posted it ) but a couple guys where I work managed to hit it for a few bucks. I started by using $5 units, so a typical night with 3 games that fit the system would cost $60. Some saturdays where there were 4-5 games with player matchups I'd end up spending 140 or so. You didn't want to lose too many of those...lol

My only goal at this point is to not throw anything at the TV when the Avalanche play.

I played it for a bit, with moderate success. Unfortunately, I was extremely broke at the time, and couldn't run it up faster than I could spend the money, so I never really made much money from it.

I like a lot of your picks too ray. The only one that really jumps out at me as sketchy is the leafs over 6 on a ceremony night, after five days off.

Yeah might be weak. I just can't take a Leafs under...it was over for far too many in a row, and Chicago's had a bunch of overs too recently.

Call me crazy, but today I went through each team's schedule and figured out over/unders for each team after a 4 day rest, and after a 5 or more day rest. I don't have them sorted by team though, just the overall tallies... after 5+ days off, teams next games were over 16 under 13 (using 5.5 as the standard). 16 of them however were under 1.5 goals in the first period (13 over), and if the 1st period line was 2.0, only 5 went over, 8 tied, and 16 were under.

So following that pattern, the 1st period should be under, but then lots of 2nd and 3rd period goals. (I hope anyway!)

Play: Chicago/Toronto over 6 –1.03 (Risking 2.06 units to win 2).
