The most attractive girl in the room is usually too pretty to be interesting, and too picky to give me the time of day.

The second most attractive girl is busy competing with the first.

The third girl is just insecure enough to have developed reasonable social skills and a body-image problem of which I can take advantage.

The seventh girl is probably too comfortable with being less attractive than her peers. My shit won't work.

There is no way that is from A Beautiful Mind. That is the second time I've been accused from stealing lines from a movie today, and I'm pretty sure I'm either going insane and forgetting how to have an original thought, or motherfuckers are out to get me.

I was just busting you balls, but there is a long scene in A Beautiful Mind that is almost word for word what you wrote. It was about something Adam Smith came up with in the 1800's.

It's a long scene in bar, but this is the conclusion:

If we all go for the blonde and block each other, not a single one of us is going to get her. So then we go for her friends, but they will all give us the cold shoulder because no on likes to be second choice. But what if none of us goes for the blonde? We won't get in each other's way and we won't insult the other girls. It's the only way to win. It's the only way we all get laid.

It was probably right around the peak of OT, in my opinion. It was right before Project Lindsey, I think...about 6-9 months of gold.

I think it peaked during the late fall and winter of 2006. It ended with my decision in December of that year to quit drinking.

I must say, from the little I can remember through the constant booze-haze, we were pretty awesome. I think I was contributing some kind of content like 2 hours/day for 3 months, and was probably significantly less active than you were. I had very little else to do, obviously.
