my advice, although i know it's not what you want to hear....

be nice to her and reciprocate the grabby feely flirting, but give her some time to be able to "move on" from her past relationship. Its much harder to sustain a relationship if you are the "rebound" fling. I know it's a hard thing to do, especially since i know how you feel about this girl, but in the long run, it's the right move. You can give her subtle hints that you are interested, maybe even take it REALLY slow and ask her to lunch or some crowded event (so that it's not really a date), but making a move too fast here is almost definately doomed, even if it is accepted. I know how much you like her and i'd be so happy for you if you finally get her. Just keep in mind she's just getting out of a relationship that seemed pretty serious so be careful.

though, Nikki's advice is correct on this one. don't take the hanging out with the dude the wrong way. probably nothing but maybe it's a subtle way (or slightly subconscious way) to get you into decision/sink or swim mode. when she was being all grabby she was sending uber signals but chrozzo didn't do anything so this is like a last shot type of deal either seeing her with another dude sends him away or calls him to arms

It's that kind of over-thinking that gets you nothing but stress.

The only way she's playing those kind of games is if her mind is hooked on Chrozzo. And no offense to the female gender or Chrozzo, but the average girl isn't that deep or pathetic.

We're all just people (men and women). We migrate and converse with people we know... good or bad. Strangers are the plague until they don't feel like strangers anymore (and the comfortableness around unknown people is different from person to person). This guy being a familiar face is probably why she was hanging around and talking to him.

Tip #1 for guys with little experience or self-confidence around pretty women

Here's the problem, if you care too much about what happens with the girl, it'll get to your head and you're not going to feel natural around her and you're going to act silly or stupid (the bad silly/stupid...... because the good silly/stupid gets you towards where you're trying to go). You have to calm down and have fun so she can see who you are ("who you are" being the guy who actually has a shot instead of the guy you think you have to be to get a shot).

She's just as unsure about what she thinks she should be doing as you are about what you should do. Make yourself fun and comfortable to be around to ease her own mental dilemnas about you. And if you don't want to be in the friend zone, don't forget to make it clear that you're into her.

if she likes Chrozzo even a little bit, she's taking notice of how he's acting when there's this other dude around and subconciously she's definitely 'testing' him. she's not actively a mastermind putting Chrozzo in this situation to find out what he does but she did put him in the situation by hanging out with this dude where she knows Chrozzo is gonna be and she's going to see how he acts so I think my thoughts were apt. the most important thing is that there's only so many times where she's gonna flirt that outrageously before she moves on
