I've watched about 6 of them, trying to get into the series and for the most part I am not understanding the appeal to the judges on this show.

Yea it's fun to see how they did things in the 60s etc, but largely the story lines are kind of slow.

Anyone love this show?

i actually stopped watching it this year - it takes way too much effort to watch - it's subtle and slow - probably worth it tho

I like it. I am behind the last 4 episodes but I really like alot about it. Once you get into it, it kind of hooks you.

My friend swears by this show. Haven't seen it yet, though.

I have to admit I am trying to figure out how I feel about the show and yet I keep going to ondemand to see if there is a new episode.

I think it's Season 2 now.

I just started watching it and have seen the last 4 eps of this season and the first 8 eps of the first season (I rented the DVDs)

It's just well acted, well written, the characters are pretty complex and it was an interesting time period, the early 60's. For me, it's compelling the way things went down back then, in the ad game, and just the relationship between men and women. I find it enjoyable.

but yes, the show can be "slow" but I prefer the term subtle.

I really like this show, it can be slow but it is super addicting. But i think to really get into the show you have to watch it from the first episode. The storylines and the characters are very complex and there is so much going on that that its hard to understand without the back stories from season 1.

Yeah I haven't seen it yet but people seem to think it's the best thing ever. Maybe it will make it's way over to England soon
