2nd set and 2nd nut flushes. 10/25 cent plo.
got beat with one of each today.
I think I should have gotten away but just wanted to get a gen. opinion. I just had that bad feeling when I bet pot but by the time villian shoved I already had most of my stack in there so I have to call right? I'm thinking check/fold?
I know some of you are going to say it depends, right?

Do you have Hand Histories?

I would like to see some hand histories as well.
IMO, yes you can get away from the second nuts in PLO but it depends on the situation. Although it's alot harder to do so in NLH. PLo is all about drawing to the nuts, second nuts obviously isn't as good as often as it is in NLH.
Also at those stakes, i think it's -ev to fold the 2nd nuts against inexperienced PLO players, Your hand will be ahead way more often then it is behind. However against experienced Plo players, the second nuts will not be ahead of their range as much. So the answer is, there's no definitive answer.

I don't get off middle set much at all, but I don't pay off with the second nut flush or even draw to it without lots of other outs.

Depends who is raising and betting into us.

Well, it depends. Can't really answer without some idea of how the hand played out.
It can be easy to get away from the 2nd Nuts. For example, if you get raised big on the river when the board hasn't paired and the only hand that they could raise you with is the nut flush or possibly a maniac bluff, then you could fold imo. Generally maniac bluffs like that aren't going to happen if you have been betting a whole way, in a situation like that I think a King high flush ain't good.

Where is this thread the last ten times you have been in this situation facing bottom set or a cr4p flush?
