Alright, so I'm just starting to use stats and I had a little help, but still am confused on when when I should be folding to some stats and raising to others.

Villain is 24/3/23 over 40 hands...I think thats what I need to put in

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (MP) ($8.87)
CO ($1.49)
Button ($5.76)
SB ($10.74)
BB ($3.17)
UTG ($2.98)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 8, 8
UTG calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.20, 1 fold, Button raises to $0.95, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.02) 4, 7, 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $4.81 (All-In), Hero?

folds. A board like that is bound to strike some fear in your opponent if he has what he represented preflop. Unless you think that its possible for him to reraise from the button with a hand that contains a 5, which is the only other reason you would call besides putting him on AK or AQ with a flush draw, than you should fold and find a better spot.

Folds.

He's raising 3% of hands preflop, so that's like AA, KK, QQ, JJ and AK. You're almost always facing an overpair and your 6 outs aren't enough to call an overshove.
